Burn to Nothing

In Joseph's room

Joseph and Enilese were sitting face to face on the couch .

" Enilese , I've seen that you have mastered your skills . So now I can assign you some more jobs . What do you think ? " , Joseph asked with a kind smile .

" I'd love to take up more jobs since I have nothing to do much . " she said with a small smile .

" Very well , I'll tell Pierce to let you know the details of work . "

" I'll be leaving then . " Enilese was about to get up when Joseph said , " Child , something is bothering you . Isn't it ? "

Enilese nodded a little .

" I knew it . You can tell me . What is it ? "

" I ...I'm just a bit upset . I can not get away with Lucas's death . Though he betrayed us I can not just accept his death . " Enilese said in a quivering voice . Tears were forming in her eyes .

Joseph gave a gentle pat on her head and said , " Don't think too much . He betrayed our group . But he personally didn't betray you or harm you ever . You have only good memories of him . " Tears started flowing down her cheeks as she listened to Joseph's words . Joseph continued , " Cherish those happy memories and don't think about anything else . Everything would be all right . " Joseph wiped her tears gently and said " Okay ? "

Enilese nodded . Joseph smiled and said, " Good child ."

Dark Soul Base

It was a dimly lit room . There was not much furniture in the room . In the middle of the room , on a chair , a man was tied . A fierce punch landed on his face and a deep and furious voice cried out , " I'm asking for the last time , who is your leader ? "

" I'm telling the truth , I'm a common man I have no link to any supernatural person . Believe me . " , the man said , panting hard .

" Which common person can stay completely under the water for more than one hour and not die ? " , Ryan asked coldly . The man couldn't find any answer to the remark . He remained silent .

" I think we are wasting our time on him ." Shawn said .

" Since he's no use to us , there is no point for us to keep him alive . Don't you think so ? " Ryan's carefree voice returned again .

Shawn said , " I gave you the chance to tell us the truth . You didn't take that chance . Now get ready to die . " He held out his hand , in a few seconds his palm was wrapped in bright red flames . He was taking his burning palm close to the man's face . The man was trembling in fear .

Shawn's hand was going to touch his forehead when Shawn said in a low voice , " Burn to nothing . "

" Nooo...." , the man screamed with all his energy .
