Jinni 4: The Airport Part 2

To save me.. ? Just who is this guy?

"Is there something bothering you Jiwoo?" the guy said.

"Well can we first off know your name?" Yon asked.

"Hmph, very well, my name is Karl, does that make it better?" he answered and asked.

"Well, when you say to save me, does that mean you know why we're here?" I asked.

I looked around and saw that everyone was quiet, but the other people in the airport were walking around like nothing has happened.

"You see, the one who was trying to kill you is working in an organization full of people who have powers from ghosts" Karl answered.

"Wait, so what does that have to do with them wanting to kill me?" I asked.

"Well we don't know for sure what the Boss wants, I have left the organization but the last thing I knew about was that they were killing the people in a video" Karl said.

"Wait, you left!?" Yong asked.

"Yes, when there are special changes made like this, most if not all members know about it" Karl continued.

I looked over at the delinquent looking guy, he looked beyond confused. I stayed quiet until our questions had been answered.

"Look, Jiwoo. I want to save you guys, however there is something even greater we have to work together to save, that is.." he began.

We all gathered closer and closer to Karl.

"Which is.. ?" the delinquent asked.

".. Humanity" Karl finished.

We all backed off out of shock.

"You see, the boss knows about the minority of people being able to see and controlling ghosts, and knows they get tortured for their so called foolery, he wants to end it all by killing everyone who is worthy of living, people who can see ghosts and use it for good use" Karl said.

"So he doesn't think we use ghosts in a good way" Yon said as if it was a statement.

"Pretty much" Karl answered.

"I'm in" I said.

Yong and Yon looked at me weirdly.

"W-What do you mean?" Yon said surprised.

"I'm following Karl to take down these bastards" I answered her and put out my fist.

"But you don't look korean, and I don't think you have been able to master the korean language, so how can you talk with them" the delinquent asked calmly.

"Hmm, I guess you guys wouldn't know either way. You see when a human develops the power to see ghosts, a part of their brain develops a special spirit energy, almost like stamina but for only ghosts, this energy allows you to understand foreign language and even body language easier" Karl answered.

"Spirit energy.. Understanding languages" Yon said quietly.

"However, what one may think it's their spirit energy blocking their potential, it could very much be that your ghost is not ready" Karl said.

"What do you mean?" asked.

Karl chuckled a bit.

"Just like how you can't control your ghost, Yon seems to be able to co-operate a lot better with her ghost as opposed to you" Karl said.

We all looked over at Yon, she was laughing and looking down at Yong.

"However, that doesn't mean your ghost is the best, you could go for 10 Ton right? Try going for 15" Karl asked.

"Hmph, sure. I wish this hammer would weigh 15 Ton!" Yon said.

As soon as she said that, her hammer dropped down to the ground resulting in a very big crack on the ground. Yon was struggling to carry up the hammer.

"Now that hammer weighs just as much as 15 Ton! Every Ghost, or should I say Jinni, has some sort of boundary as how much it can go" Karl said.

"All this Ghost talk-" I said but got cut off.

"Jinni. Their real names are Jinni, and that's what everyone refers to them ro, at least those who have a good amount of knowledge" Karl corrected.

"All this Jinni talk and nothing to save earth, we have to do something!" I said.

Everything got quiet. I pointed at the delinquent.

"Especially you! We don't even know who you are!" I said.

He got angry, he rose up and headbutted me and held his forehead on mine.

"All that matters is I'm following you, and it's Tengan to you! T-E-N-G-A-N!" he said.

"Fine, Tengan.. !" I said and backed off.

We both held our angry glares on eachother.

"Hey Jiwoo, are you still sure we can trust this guy?" Yon asked.

"And I mean, there's no way they're all in Korea, this has to be a big organization!" Yong added.

"Well he helped us out from being killed, helped us a whole bunch by clearing up questions we needed answered about our powers, what more is there to suspect?!" I said.

It was a long silence.

"Fine Jiwoo, if you're in, I'm joining ya dude!" Yong said and stood next to me.

Yon looked frustrated.

"ALRIGHT.. ! I'll follow you, for this once.." she said disappointed.

We all looked at Karl, waiting for him to say anything while he was still on the ground.

"Perfect, and perfect that I even have enough tickets!" he said.

"Tickets?" Tengan asked.

Ha.. Haha.. HAHAHA" Karl laughed.

He kept and kept laughing.

"The organization has 5 people called the 'chosen one's' all spread out the world to help the Boss succeed in his plan, in order to stop this we have to stop every one of these chosen people" Karl said.

"Well.. ?" Yong said.

"If you say that.." I continued.

"What are we waiting for?!" Yon finished.

"The first one lies in Russia, he's known as the 'Eagle King', he's a gang leader!" Karl said.

"Gang leader, this is starting to sound more interesting!" Tengan said.

"He's a very well known one as he leads Russia's biggest, most notorious and dangerous gang, called 'The Eagles'!" Karl kept talking.

I had a grin on my face.

"I have 5 tickets for Russia, the plane goes 17:00 PM, by the time we get there, we'll be tired but well enough time to engage in our plan to stop him" Karl said.

"Well then, let's get going!" I said.

And so, we were off to the plane to Russia, what awaits us we may not know for now, but soon enough we'll find out!
