"What is this for!?" Xiao Tianyao shouted, glaring at Xiao Jun who just put down his leg after he kicked him.

"I hope this kick can knock some senses on you." Xiao Jun said firmly.

He approached his brother without hesitation, didn't even worry if Xiao Tianyao would strike him for what he had done.

However, when both of them stood face to face and looked at each other eyes, Xiao Jun talked with a deep voice like big brother he was.

"You ruined our plan and these are the consequences, don't you want to know why did you act like that? Don't you feel it was strange for you to be so captivated by her? Think about it again while I am gone." Xiao Jun patted his younger's brother shoulder. "We need to survive this. When I am gone, you are on your own. If you want to help me, you must to help yourself first."

With that being said, Xiao Jun turned around and left his brother who was still standing in daze while looking his back, like what he did when Xiao Jun enlisted to the military many years ago and left him behind.

The sky had turned dark when Xiao Tianyao arrived at his mansion. He gave the reins of his horse to his subordinates and walked into his study room.

However, in the hallway, the old mama who had been with him since he was young, approached him and spoke politely.

"Prince Xiao Tianyao, Young Miss Luna is eating her dinner, will you come to eat dinner together?"

Xiao Tianyao halted his step, with his back was facing the old lady, he answered her question with different topic.

"Call Qianru to study room." He said and then walked away.

The old mama who bowed his head looked at Xiao Tianyao's retreating back in puzzled. Despite her bewilderment she still picked up her pace to inform Qianru that Xiao Tianyao wanted to meet her in his study room.

It didn't take a long time before someone knocked the door of the study room softly.

Xiao Tianyao murmured something to let Qianru in, however the moment his sister in law was inside, a loud gasping sound from her greeted him and then consecutive panic questions started.

"What happened to you? Where is Jun? Is he alright?" Qianru rushed toward Xiao Tianyao and grimaced when she looked at the wound closely. "Who did this to you?"

"Your husband." He answered curtly.

Qianru examined his wounds on his face and shoulder before decided he would be fine after some treatment. "Well, if it was him then I guess you deserved it."

Xiao Tianyao raised his eyebrows, he must have known this, ever since they were young Qianru mostly would take his brother side. "He didn't end up any better too." He defended irritably.

Qianru's breathe hitched, frowned when she heard it and rushed to the door while grumbling something about; men and their fighting skill.

"I will ask someone to call physician in your mansion on my way out." She said and added before she walked out from the room. "She is very interesting person. If you want to know more about her, I think she will surprise you with what you will find." She said softly.

However, what she implied in her words was clear for him to investigate about Luna's original. Instead of opposed him directly like Xiao Jun did, Qianru took different approached to leave some clue for Xiao Tianyao.

She cared about both of them and knew their personalities pretty well. It wouldn't give any result to stuffed Xiao Tianyao with the thing that he didn't believe without any evidence and wished he would follow.

However, Qianru's suggestion gave him a room to think this matter thoroughly, especially with what had happened today.

Xiao Tianyao was looking at the door that gradually closed, before he stood up and walked out of the room as well.
