I WILL KILL THE EMPEROR!

Like on cue, Luna's eyes opened, there was no trace of fatigue or sleepiness, they were clear and rigid. She looked directly into Qianru's eyes defiantly.

However, afterward no one from them was talking, despite Qianru had unraveled her façade, she was not in hurried to talk something.

Qianru was assessing her silently, she had been living in the capital for her entire life and had been acquaintance with people from the palace. Thus, she was familiar with this kind of trick.

The reason why Xiao Tianyao couldn't tell it, just because his own judgment had been clouded. After all, women' tricks and men' trick have their own method and worked in different way.

"What your purpose by doing this?" Qianru appeared very calm. She had confronted a situation worse than this, a small friction like this wouldn't falter her.

"Why do you think I will answer you?" Luna asked in the same calm tone.

The way both women talking was akin to a calm sea, looked serene on the surface, but the it tide could corrode corals.

"I don't expect you to easily answer my question either, but manipulated Tianyao wouldn't get you anywhere."

"You didn't know what you are talking about."

"And you didn't know what kind of people you are involved with."

Silent fell on both of them once again, their eyes held each other gazes with different fire burnt inside them.

Initially, Xiao Jun and her would leave the capital the first thing in the morning, but upon hearing this news, he rushed out to confirm the validity of the information by himself.

Emperor's decree came to their mansion first, late at night, and as Xiao Jun entered the palace, Qianru rushed to Xiao Tianyao's mansion.

In one look, Qianru could tell there was something wrong with the woman and the way Xiao Tianyao looked at her. It wasn't love, it was obsession.

"I would like you to leave me alone." Luna turned her head to the other side, refused to continue the staring contest between them.

"Unfortunately, I can't do that." Qianru stood up and called for the female servant that she had brought with her to bring their breakfast inside the room. "I promised to Tianyao to take care of you."

Luna slowly turned her head to look at Qianru once again before she smiled softly. "I am sorry to trouble you."

"It's fine, I will watch over you." Qianru reciprocated the same harmless smile.

The moment Xiao Tianyao arrived at the Qing palace, where The Emperor was living, Xiao Jun had been waiting for him at the hallway.

His brother looked incredulously incensed, his eyes and ears were bloodshot red. He has difficulty to keep his breathing even.

When he caught a glimpse of his younger brother, Xiao Jun's body was like has its own thought as he approached him with large strides.

The moment they were meet in the middle, Xiao Jun didn't hesitate to lay a punch on him, but Xiao Tianyao dodge it easily. He jumped aside and shot him a dagger look.

Two eunuchs who were escorting both princes frantically calling for help as they saw the fight would break.

However, all guards who were there couldn't do anything with them as they themselves felt their knees buckled upon seeing the animosity between the two princes.

"You make things worse." Xiao Jun looked at his brother with hatred, the thing that had never appeared in his eyes before.

"Do you just blame me?" His eyebrows raised in defiant manner as he looked at his brother aggressively. "I have made it clear the last time I am here; DON'T TOUCH HER!" He roared. An angry beast that would stop for nothing until he got the things that could appease his anger.

And the thing was, to have the Emperor dead.

"Do you know what? You are a coward!" He asked sarcastically, even Xiao Jun started to concern with what he would do. "If you can't kill him, I will do!"

With that being said, Xiao Tianyao unsheathed his sword and charged forward to the Emperor's study room.

Xiao Jun's eyes hardened as he drew his own sword while the eunuchs who had cowered away cried for help.

"HELP! THERE IS ASSASIN WHO WANT TO KILL THE EMPEROR!"
