Chapter 5:My rooftop rest was cancelled

What am I doing? I am.. really. Doing hand stand push ups, just because I want to keep my self busy. Ugh! I want to forget what I did, I just kissed Kira and I can't seem to forget it...I mean, it's my first time and I felt really nervous back there, but I managed it. "Haaah.."I exhaled as the sweat on my face poured onto the floor. But still, her reaction is totally different, I didn't expect it, She said it's her first time, That's sounded unbelievable, I mean she's gorgeous, there's no way that's her first time, right? She must have done it before in other guy.

And..Tchh.. I should be the one who should said that that was my first kiss, but well I don't really care about such silly things.

"147...148..149..haa..150.."

Wiping my drenched body from sweat, After cooling down for sometime I abandoned my exercise and took my time to bathe in cold water. Emerging refreshed, I quickly put in my school uniform, glancing over my things on a book shelf, I saw the one I was looking for the other day.

"So you're here." Picking up the bracelet my father left me, I dangled it in front of me and hugged. I was close to losing this one. I thought I lost it, to think I just missplace it.

Wearing the bracelet as usual like it was a necklace, I noticed the ring that comes with it. This... Doesn't this ring have the same pattern like Kira has?.. Nah..must be just a coincidence..

Well, it's time to go to school..

If you're wondering what happened after the kiss, well. It got awkward. Kira become quite and had a super red face, 'she must be angry deep inside her mind' is what I thought. Well, I accompany her for a bit of time but after a few moments, she said some excuse that she needs to get home as soon as possible and left me all alone in the street, I couldn't say anything, so I just went home and sleep.

[Our classroom at the middle of the week, Wednesday.]

Finally able to reached my classroom.Kira spot me immediately and greeted me with a warm smile upon seeing me, "Good morning."

After wavering for a few seconds, I quickly replied, "Morning," and hurried to my desk.

I don't want to look at her as of now because it reminds me of what happened last night. If possible I wanted to put some distance between us and not see her face for a while. Because looking at her would remind me of that kiss. Sigh, that had become a stuck memory I wanted to bury as fast as possible.

However, as much as I hated it, Kira is a girl that wouldn't let me.

"M-matsuki-kun, your collar is awry," she pointed out cheerfully and stood naturally before me as if this had been her place for a hundred years.

Then she fixed my collar with her white slender fingers.

Below my eyes was her white neck. I closed them firmly for a moment as if to shake off my stray thoughts.

My collar wasn't awry at all. What's her deal? It's suspicious.

"When are you free ?" whispered Kira, moving her lustrous lips near my ear.

I quickly averted my gaze from her and said indifferently "I'm busy till next year." As much as I want her to realize that I had no plan on doing anything with her in my free time, I added: "I have so many things on my plate right now, unlike some people out there." but I felt like she didn't even hear me and continued, "I am free next Saturday evening," she said, her hands held together, trembling slightly. "My mother should... umm..." She paused, rolling her eyes as if embarrassed. "She should be late on that day too because of a meeting with someone."

"Huh?" My jaw opened slightly in confusion. Why was she telling me that her mother would be late? I don't need such information.

Does she really think I'd say with a smile 'Yes, I am also free on that day, where are we going?'

No way I'll do what you want and go somewhere with you, I couldn't even imagine what will happen if I decided to. What is she scheming this time?

"Like I said, I'm pretty busy, so I won't be able to go with you."

"I-is that so..T-then, when are you free?"

It looks like I have to be clear to her since she doesn't understand that I really am not interested..

I approached until we were nose to nose, and declared point-blank:

"I don't have any time to play around," Kira face has become red and her shoulders seem to have stiffen. "Why do we even need to meet on weekends? Aren't we already seeing each other for almost every day in school?"

To top off my remark, I flashed an annoyed smile.

Kira lowered her head and "Well..I-I also want to see you on weekends and spend time with you a-and," She looked at me intensely and blinked.

"Y-you don't want to?" Acting like a pampered child in front of me, Sigh, it's annoying.

But still if I said 'No' here, she might suspect me that I don't have an interest on her. Though, that's really the case.

Let's see, how should I deal with this? Matsuki think!

I glanced at my watch and saw that it's already 6:55 am. Just five minutes till the bell rang and start of the class.

Ugh! whatever!

I held her head, cupped her cheeks, "I'm sorry, I can't hold back if you come closer to me that much," Kira seems puzzled. I hug her and whispered in her ear. "Isn't it fine, after all, you're mine."

I felt Kira soft slender body and shake off my thoughts as I thighed my arms around her.

"M-matsuki-kun?.."

I hugged her more tightly than ever to waste more time but then, I noticed some malicious intent from somewhere.

I glances where it came from and see a girl that I wouldn't want to deal with, It was Shina, the girl who adores Kira more than anyone, her friend.

Shit! Did I do the right thing or not?

Shina being there, I grit my teeth and smirked as if it has already become a habit of mine, Hmm..If I remember correctly, shes that one girl who's always with Kira. Especially with school affairs since she's the assistant representative.

"Hey! Matsuki!"

There she stood, with a grimace resembling the doorkeeper of hell.

"What the hell are you doing?"

Much to my chagrin, she was followed by a regiment of guys who were eager to support her,

"Let go of her!"

"What are you trying to do first thing in the morning?!"

"Is it really true that they're dating?"

The group exchanged glances and then simultaneously cracked a sickening smile. They were making my day a bit annoying.

"Well, as a man it's clear what I am doing—"

It was up to me to choose what to say and do, so what? the others had no say about it.

"—as a man one must take the meal, right?"

I didn't like trouble but Whatever I'll just deal with them.

"What?"

"!!!"

Shina glared at me and the others stared confusedly. As for me, still hugging Kira in front of them with wickedly smile. I'm surprised, Kira is not even moving or saying anything, Is she paralyzed?.

"What's happening out there on the back?" Said the girl who was near the black board with her friends.

"Just kids fighting, Not interesting." said the pony tail girl.

I'm surprised that they're not trying to do something, I mean it's about Kira you know, they always eavesdropping when it was about her, can't they see her? Maybe it's because some guys are hindering their view from us.

Shina stepped forward with her annoyed face, it was obvious that she's angry because she's been clenching her fist for a long time while glaring at me.

"Kira," Shina called out, "Is it really true that you two are.." she paused, "I mean, it's you...so there's no way, right? Did that bastard threatened you or something?""

"!" That riled me up, her sentences couldn't be more infuriating, me threatened her? Now I'm the bad guy...Woman are really something, huh.

"Uhmm.." Kira trying to explained, I covered her mouth and whispered "You don't have to answer her."

"Well.. I guess, you didn't understand what I just said, and I think that's understandable with that brain of yours." I smirked and provoked Shina.

She was pissed just like what I'd expected but she just stood there and gritted her teeth, not being able to do anything.

Well, she can't deny what I said because that's a fact. She's the lowest in this class, Kira is just kind enough to help her with her subjects.

"I'll explain to you so you can understand ," I pat Kira's head and she jolted, "Kira is a meal that was served every day in front of you, guys, but you didn't take her and just stared at her, hoping to preserve her forever for you to look at, so I grabbed the opportunity to eat the meal because it was served on me, Who wouldn't want to eat a free meal?"

"Huh"

"Y-you.Matsuki!" She yelled and are really pissed hahaha...

BZZZZZZZZ!!!! Bzzzzt!!!

The bell rang and the teacher has arrived. Sorry for you the class will start now, Heheheh...

"What are you doing there? Get back on your seats!" Teacher Kakuri admonished.

They weren't able to do anything and was forced to go back to their seat.

I let go of Kira and looked at her. Her beautiful face is really apparent but her blush red cheeks only made it look like a fresh tomato, though I couldn't care much about her face.

"Kira, you should go back to your seat, too." I happily said. Who wouldn't be happy when you're having fun?

"Eeh.. Ri-right..Then, later" She awkwardly smiled and walked unsteadily towards her seat.

For now I managed to get away from her.

Sigh, dealing with Kira is already tiring, and that girl is trying to get in the way, I'll distance myself from her for now.

And just like that, our morning conversation was over and I felt that some trouble may happen in the future.

Have you seen Kira?" "The teacher asked,

"I-isnt she at the student council meeting?" I bluntly said.

I'm on my way to eat my lunch at the backyard of the school and here I am getting bothered by an annoying person.

"I'm asking because she's not there, the meeting is about to start." Sighed heavily and fix her glasses. "You're her classmate, right?" She looked me in the eye, "Don't you think it's more reasonable for you to look for her than me?"

"Eh?" You gotta be kidding me.. This woman..

"Thanks" She tapped me on the shoulder, " I know I can count on you," and smiled. "Hurry, You need to bring her on that room before the meeting ends," she pointed at the door next to us. "It will be a loss for your class if she didn't attend it." she yawned, "then I'll be leaving now to take a nap in my office."

That hag, Ditching her work on students as usual.

"Where is Kira anyway?"

Let's see, I have her phone number if I remember.

"Let's call her."

Ah she's not answering.

Do I really need to look for her?

You got a damn phone why don't use it properly and answer my call, damn it. Such a pain...

I looked for her and went to different places but couldn't find her, She's not in our room, cafeteria, park and other places.

Sigh, where did she go, the break time is almost over and I spent much of it like this because of her, I'll get her back for this.

Wait, I'll just ditch the next class and make excuses, the rooftop looks so refreshing, I might as well relax there. Why would I have to look for her, she can just go back there by herself.

Hmm.. As I made my way out of the door heading the rooftop, I saw two person in from afar, and notice a guy and Kira,

Oh, well, it's Kira,

Saves me the trouble of looking for her, What are they even doing on the rooftop, the bell already rang.

but.. who's that guy? First time seeing him..

So the reason I couldn't find her was because she's here... Are they taking their time flirting here?

"I told you to not get near Taku-chan, she just got here and you're bothering her!"

Shocked, hearing Kira fierce voice, her yelled echoed with rage. Surprised by the scene I'm serious, I halted and hid on the platform, peeking from the side, I watches them.

"I was planning to ignore it but you keep doing it,"

"I have no choice, I'll have to report you to.."

Kira, walking away, he snatch her arm and held it.

"Let go of me!"she shaken up but didn't manage it.

"Hey, That's no good, If that was known by The school grounds security I'll be in dipshit."

"Can't you let it go?" He demanded.

"You..." Let go of me." Kira struggling to break off from his gripped, this seems to be turning in a bad way.

"Can't you let her go?" I glared at him, tightening my hold in his arm"

"Uhm.. Matsuki?" Kira surprised by my sudden appearance, as I am. I continued to tighten my gripped on him.

Seems like it's not going well with the both of them. I would like to ignore it but...

This guy.... Getting all the good stuff, hurting my prey, it doesn't look good in my eyes. Kira is supposed to only be hurt by me and not by others, she's mine all alone. Seeing this guy stole all the fun part, I couldn't ignore it.

Sigh, "what a day, really. I'm tired you know? Can't you let me have my rest?"

"You, who are you?" He asked iritatedly letting go of Kira's hand and stepping back.

"Oh, me? Don't you know the famous me?"

"I am just her," putting my hand to Kira and pulled her close to me, "Her boyfriend." I smirked

"Tch.." he gritted his teeth and put his hand on his pockets, "Hmm, Sorry, I didn't mean to put my hand on your girlfriend." He turned away, gazing over us he said "Just be careful next time not to let your girlfriend wonder too much..."

"I'll be taking my leave now."

Hmm..Is that it? I really thought I'll get into some kind of fight when I stepped in...

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked.

"You've been silent since that guy left"

"Uhmm..." Kira's face is red and flushed just like a tomato, "It's just... the way your holding me.."

"Hmm.. " I loosen up my hand on her., "Sorry, didn't notice it's hurting you."

Rather, I'm happy that she's hurt..

But why do I feel pissed that that guy managed to do that to her first.

I held Kira's hand where that guy held her.

"Ehmm..Matsuki it.. it's still hurts.."

"Uh..sorry," I instinctively did it..

Hmm.. It doesn't seem fun and elevating, I thought if I do it too, I'll feel good...

"I was just making sure that I erase his mark on you.." I smiled and removed my hand on her.

"I see...Thanks..." She become quiet for a moment and then "Let's go to class now." suddenly holding my hand as she pulled me away from the rooftop.. No! My rest! I'm supposed to be ditching class today.. geez This bitch is cruel, why does she even happen to do here, and what's with that guy?

"Kira, wait, what are you guys doing in the rooftop anyways?" I asked, trying to fill my curiosity.

"It's just something I had to deal with, you don't have be concerned about it."

"Really?"I leaned on the wall as I let go of her.

"My girlfriend is alone with a guy, and they're fighting..."

"...I don't think that's none of my concern though.."

I crossed my arms, glaring at her,

"If yoo two are that close to fight and hold each other, Isn't that suspicious?"

"Eh...No It's uhm because..." Kira's dignified presence vanished and her usual childlike in panic, I can't help but think if she has two sides or something.

"Care to tell me then?"

"O-okay, I'll tell you so.."

She told me that one of her dear friends is being stalk by that guy, she had seen that guy keeping an eye on her friend and already told him to fuck off, but he is still persisting.. I don't know who is that friend of hers but I'm sure that's not Shina, she also have many friends so I guess it's none of my business..

"Okay, I got the gist of what's going on"

"Uhm...Are you going to help me?"

"Help you?"

"Yeah, that guy is not gonna stop unless we do something to him." Clenching her fist as her usual dignified presence came back, I'm in an awe.

"Hmm.." I scratched my head, "I'll do something about it when I find the time."

"Really," happy with my words, she dive into me and wrapped her hands around me, while saying "Thanks Matsuki!" Happily.

That's what I said but... I don't really care whatever happened to your friend.

The bell already rang before, let's go to our class, or we'll be late."

Kira said, pulling me along with her towards our classroom, and that's how my wonderful plan to get rest in the rooftop was cancelled.
