Other Disappearances

When Barry and Paul felt the absence of Alex, they commenced searching for him insanely in that pretty little room. Sometimes inside cupboard, sometimes under the bed and almost to every possible corner of the room, they searched thrice but got nothing. And after all efforts, they eventually gave up resting on the bed calmly and in a concerned way.

"Barry, where is Alex? Has he went outside?", asked Paul looking straight on the door.

"I don't know. And have you gone crazy? Don't you see the door is locked from inside? Then how possibly would he go outside of the room.", said Barry.

Paul remained silent for the moment and then praying to god he went for the last assay.

He approached slowly towards the study table. And after moving his eyes over it, he noticed the book 'ins and outs'. He picked it up, bring it a little closer to his eyes and started staring it from both sides. Then, in that instant, someone knocked on the door. They got frightened and started mumbling and gesticulating to each other to open the door. And neither of them were ready to do so, but eventually, as Barry was near to it so he got up and dared to open the door.

When opened, they found Blake standing at the door, folding her both hands furiously. Seeing this, they put on a fake wide smile on their face.

"Hey, what on the earth brings you here?", Barry grinned.

"Bring me Alex. Where is he?", asked Blake.

"He has gone outside and will be back in half hrs", Paul falsified smiling and moving ahead with that book. Only then, her pretty eyes caught the book in his hand.

"So, that was you, who stole my book. Why the hell did you do this? Return me back, quick !"

"Yeah, take it", said Paul moving towards her and gazing on the book, "but I don't know how it came here. And none of us stole it from you."

But suddenly, while he was approaching to her, he mistakingly got stuck from Barry's shoulder and the book slips off his hand. And fell down on the floor and remained opened.

Then within a second, it sucked in everyone only leaving behind the relevant spark as during the Alex disappearance.
