Asking for a favour

The news of the incident came as a complete shock, more students kept flooding to the combat arena's gate. It was already past nine in the morning, but the two were still left hanging on the gate, nobody helped them. The crowd started to boo the two, they also sang troll songs for the two. This further infuriated Casper, but there was nothing he could do, he could only swore to revenge.

Eventually, Casper's lackeys came to help, they untied the two and brought them down The crowd threw stuffs and objects at them, they were obviously displeased. Casper and Max hung their head in shame, they left the scene quietly. There was nothing they could do, the only thing that could do them a favour was staying off the public for a while.

After Clifford and Daisy left the scene, Clifford took her to the academy's clinic for treatment. After she had been treated, he saw her off to her hostel before he left for his. On getting to his room in the hostel, it was buzzing with noise, his roommates were noisily discussing about the recent event.

"Casper is such a twat, hahaha! Look at him," Theodore laughed.

"Hey Clifford, did you do that to them?" Benson rushed to Clifford the moment the latter entered. They had discussed about who could've punished Casper and Max and they had agreed it was Clifford. It was very reasonable for them to agree it was Clifford, Clifford doesn't usually spend the night outside. The last few days that Clifford wasn't around, Feng Xin had told them he was busy Cultivating. Leonard had also confirmed that he had seen Clifford, he told them that Clifford had received a message and left very late the previous night, so it was easy for them to conclude that it was Clifford's doing.

"No! No! No! Noooo!" Leonard cried. "You just made things worse. Don't you get it? I never wanted your help!!!" He was furious and scared, he was afraid of what Casper would do to his family. To him, Clifford had worsened things. Clifford and the others were stunned, they didn't expect this reaction from Leonard, they thought he had gone mad.

"What the hell is wrong with you man?" Clifford grabbed Leonard and pushed him against the wall. He was mad and worried, he had expected to see a look of relief on Leonard's face. He was stunned to see the latter panicking.

"My family, he'll punish them for this," Leonard sobbed. Clifford and the others were shocked once again, Casper had threatened to hurt Leonard's family. They finally understood why Leonard had not told who it was, his family's safety was at stake. They were overwhelmed with mixed emotions, anger and resentment toward Casper and great pity for Leonard, the latter had really suffered these past few months.

Although Clifford doubted that Casper would hurt Leonard's family because it was Daisy that exposed Casper's evil deeds, he still had to do something about the matter, the safety of a whole family was at stake. As much he hated asking for help from people, he had no choice but to do so this time, he was going to meet Dora and ask for help. He told Theodore and Benson to stay with Leonard while he left to meet Dora.

Soon, they met at a location. Dora was dressed in a white outfit this time, a short gown that exposed her stunning and sexy thighs, the cleavage of her cup sized breasts were exposed too. "That's no problem," Dora smiled, the process of protecting another family wasn't a problem, she was naturally glad to help.

"You really underestimate the power of the Patterson family," Dora smiled. All she needed to do was to tell her brother, she trusted that he would solve everything

"So that's all, he'll be happy to hear this." Clifford said.

"There's a small problem though," Dora had to warn Clifford of something.

"What you did to Casper, you went too far."

"He deserved more," Clifford didn't have any remorse for doing that, after all Casper had done worse to people.

"You do not get it," Dora shook her head. "The threat isn't Casper, it's his mother."

"His mother? I don't give a fuck."

"When you humiliated him at the cafeteria, months ago, his mother wasn't around. That was why there was any aftermath for humiliating him." Dora explained.

"I still don't give a fuck," Clifford didn't care at all, if Casper offends him in the future, he would humiliate him again.

"His father doesn't care about matters like this, but his mother, she's completely irrational, and she wouldn't take this lightly." Dora warned.

"Let her bring it on!" Clifford arose to leave. He thanked Dora for her kindness, then he politely left.

When he got back to the hostel, he told Leonard and others the good news. For the first time in months, Leonard felt relieved. He hugged Clifford tightly and cried, he was really grateful. He was aware of the power of the Patterson family, now that his family was under their protection, they couldn't be more safe. Clifford was quite proud of himself, he swore that as long as his friends remained loyal, he would always be there for them.

Benson suggested that they should celebrate it, the group left for a pub outside the academy. It was a pub owned by the Patterson family, they drank, partied and merry, Dora was there as well. Leonard thanked her in person, he was deeply grateful. Even Feng Xin was available, but he wasn't involved much, he just sat at one corner and drank wine quietly. When they had finished partying, they were all drunk except Feng Xin and Dora. Feng Xin directed his drunk roommates back to the academy's hostel.

"If I hadn't follow these fools, they would've slept in the streets." Feng Xin thought when he finally rested on his bed. He tried to sleep but he couldn't, the loud snores of his drunk roommates was disturbing him. He furiously rose up from his bed and slapped each of them on the face. They all stopped snoring like pigs and slept like babies after Feng Xin gave them hot slaps.
