"Oh, that new Y-Men movie is out," Ivy commented casually. "I always thought Doctor Y had such interesting powers. It must be strange for him not being able to use his powers on a select few people like Badger. Don't you think?"

Adrian seemed surprised by the randomness of her question but answered anyway. "Yeah, I guess so. I didn't realize they didn't work on some people."

"My brother is super into the Y-Men and told me all about it," she said half-truthfully. "Apparently, a few people with great mental strength can purposely block him out. I mean, if I was hanging around a telepath all the time I wouldn't want them in my head."

He nodded thoughtfully. "That makes sense."
