The Soul Knights

If you want to go on a journey in a fantasy world then you should definitely read this book. With erotic scenes like GoT, a world like LoTR, fight scenes like HxH this has it all. No cheat skills (they make the story boring) no censoring (what's the point) and an actually good story that you want to read, along with thrilling battles with armies instead of just waiting for the next erotic scene. it starts slowly to make you care for the characters and yes there are more than one, although there is only one MC, but still it only gets interesting when there are more pieces to move on the board. Chapter 73

"But would it be right to go after Gurg right now?" asked Sarah.

"I don't care, all I can think about right now is what I will do when I see him," said Akash.

"If we can take care of him in the middle of the battle, we can just say that he was killed by the goblins," said Aria.

"But he would have all his men around him," said Ben.

"I am sure with all of us together, we can keep them distracted long enough till we take care of Gurg," said Akash and the others nodded.

"I don't think we will have to go anywhere," said Farin and looked behind them, they turned and saw Gurg coming towards them with a large group of soldiers behind them.

"They aren't even trying to act as if they are helping out in the battle," spat Silv.

"I should stay back, I'll make sure that the goblins don't try something else, while you take care of him," said Ash and he moved away from the group and mixed in with the crowd nearby, there was also something else he needed to take care of but he stayed close enough to hear what was happening while taking care of the goblins left, they were still coming out of holes from the ground even after all their warlocks had been killed.

He went around taking care of the goblins that came his way while keeping an eye out for what he was looking for and also at the scene progressing with the others.

Gurg reached the other with a broad smile on his face, with the same proud and superior look he always had.

"Looks like you guys have taken care of everything here, I knew those goblins were no match for us, no matter how many they might be, but I have to say you guys look pretty fucked up, It's good that we were here to see the evacuation and protection of the citizens otherwise you guys would have been stretched too thin," said Gurg.

"It's good you came here yourself commander, because all my elves had started to wonder if you and your men would be better off sewer cleaners rather than soldiers, I mean you can't blame them when underage healers are present at the battlefield too, you and your men were nowhere to be seen," said Akash.

"Look who y...," the man beside Gurg started to speak with anger.

'I haven't finished talking, mut, stay behind your master licking his shoes," Akash stopped him in his tracks, Ash had to admit the general had some guts.

"Well general we also came across some very troubling information just now, I was hoping you could shed some light on it, there are rumors that this whole attack is your doing, that you knew about the goblins all along and have been colluding with them," said Akash.

"That's a very grave accusation General Akash, don't cross the line," Gurg changed tones and shouted back.

"You have to say, it is quite suspicious that you weren't here fighting with us, when all of us have heard what a great fighter you are, or those are just rumors too, and you are just a fat bastard in that armor which you never take off," taunted back Akash in Gurg's face.

"I didn't want to do this right now, but you give me no choice," said Gurg as if he was the one who was the victim and pulled out his sword, all his men behind him pulled out their swords too, Gurg's right-hand man the one Ash had seen in the morning took out a sword which looked very familiar to Ash and he had a big grin on his face.

The others pulled out their swords too ready to fight.

"You should think about this again," shouted Gurg.

"I have done enough thinking, you need to show that you are still a man of honor, as Vallarium watches over us, the one who has malice in his heart and is corrupted, his blade will lose all its speed and bite too," shouted Akash and ran at Gurg.

And there in the middle of the battlefield, another battle had started. Ash was worried about Gurg's power but it seemed like Akash was on an equal level, his only fear about this plan was that if Gurg might be too powerful for them, then they should have waited for Michael and Ronin, who should have been here by now, but now it looked like, Akash, and others together could take care of him if he was similarly strong. This explained why he had brought so many men, but a lot of their elves had been freed too because of the lesser number of goblins left, so it wasn't a good time for Gurg. Soon his men would fall and he would be left alone to deal with more than one opponent, Ash knew one thing, Gurg was smart and good at planning, he must have foreseen this scenario so then why did he come here himself?

Ash looked around for the answer and as the ground suddenly started trembling he got it. From the side where the goblins were coming from, the ground had started moving up and down like it was not solid but liquid. Something was moving inside the earth and coming directly towards them, the number of goblins had also started increasing and he saw a big horde coming out of the forest with several hobgoblins too.

This didn't surprise him because he had seen first-hand how big the canyon was, and according to the scouts the goblins had filled it when they had when they had launched an attack last time, and if they knew they had Gurg's support they wouldn't scare away this time that easily, and by now he knew that their leaders were as smart as anyone, so they could be waiting for a moment like this to come and take advantage of because they wouldn't have trusted Gurg completely just he wouldn't trust them, they were both trying to use each other to get what they wanted.

Whatever it was that was moving under the earth had gotten very close to them, but Akash and the others were too busy fighting with Gurg and his men, they couldn't afford to look away.

The ground rose even higher and it finally exploded open and out came a goblin warlock, like the others he had seen before only it seemed to float over something but when its body came into view he saw that his bottom part was attached to something else, what it was Ash had no idea, it was green and ugly, it moved like a worm, it had small spikes all over its body, it had weird eye spots where its eyes would be, he had no idea if they worked or not, but it did have a round mouth which when opened looked like a cave with rows of teeth going all the way inside, and it sucked in air with great force to capture its prey.

Ash was more distracted by the warlock who had somehow combined with the body of this creature. He suspected he was the brain of the creature, because wherever he point the worm opened its mouth and everyone nearby was sucked in, in an instant it had eaten a lot of goblins and elves.

The appearance of the worm had bound to distract the others, they needed to go and help their fellow men, but Gurg was not letting this opportunity go, he and his men had thrown all pretense to the wind and had started fighting with the other elves everywhere. This was bad, they were pretty much fucked up now, he will have help from one side but which, he had no idea how to deal with the worm, and Gurg seemed a bit too powerful for him right now.
