Dharvey blinked her eyes a few times, not knowing what to say. The man before her turned out to be her father and he asked her to come with him now that her mother is dead. She felt hesitant to go with him because how can she go with him if she just knew him now?
How can one feel comfortable with being around a man who is capable of murder?
Dharvey took her hand away from him slowly as she averted her gaze and spoke softly, but enough for him to hear.
"I don't even know your name..."
"Ah..."
The man also realized that he had not told his name to his daughter so he laughed a bit as he scratched the back of his head then he stood up and answered her.
"Umbra."
Dharvey cocked her head to the side as she now looked up to her father standing before her and said his name that was foreign to her tongue.
"Umbra..."
"That's right," he replied then he gave her a small smile. "And that woman at least gave you a name, didn't she?"
