Revenge

August walked to his door and opened it. He did not see anyone standing directly outside the door but rather a person sitting on the floor beside the door. 

"Diana?"

"August...Sorry for disturbing you," Diana replied. She remained on the ground with her head down and hugged her knees together 

August's expression fell.

Diana looked more dishevelled than he had ever seen. Her hair was messy, she was not in her usual clean Brander Clan sorcerer robes but rather in a cloak. What made him frown was the whitish liquid that he was all over her body. But he did not say anything about it and instead grabbed her on her shoulders and lifted her to her feet.

She did not resist. Her expression was plain and deadpan but it was he could sense her fragile emotional state at the moment.

"Come inside."

Fortunately for them, the corridor was empty and no one saw her. After bringing her inside, he stood before her and performed a hand sign.

"AQUAE!"
