Witchcraft In A Futuristic World?

It's been a year, and I got busted… I should have thought about it, but my curiosity got the better of me (more and more I'm starting to think it's this little body's fault).

If you wonder what happened, It was the Prisma I got from my mother; It had some sort of controlling measure, and my mother managed to get it while I slept in the living room.

Mother not only saw all my search history, but since I had, kind of a non recognized access to it, it recorded myself and my reactions while browsing…

I can now understand my old friend, when he told me that he got caught in the act by his parents, this is such an awkward feeling; Here I'm sitting between my parents, in the living room, while they look at every single time I used Prisma, more than just the first day, unfortunately, I used it many times…

I searched about the city, country, economy, popular news, and the thing that most worries me, I searched about my old planet…

Even thought, most content was blocked for me, and I couldn't access them no matter what, the most simple ones weren't, like the one about mana; I couldn't control my expression at the time, seeing myself now, I'm kind of cute, but seeing my own happiness, at this moment, feels strange...

My throat is dry... Their expressions…

"Enough." Mother said as she powered off the Prisma.

Will they know about me? If so, what will they do? I'm still a kid, I can barely balance myself in this body…

Mother raised her hand in my direction.

Will she hit me? I closed my eyes, preparing for impact.

But surprisingly, she started patting me, as she said, "Did you see? Seems like we have a genius boy."

"Right?! He was able to use that old Prisma, even though he opened random things, it's still surprising…" Father replied.

Wait what? Random things?

"Yes, he enjoyed it so much that he even hid from us below his pillow."

They started hugging me (sandwich). Damn, I was overthinking too much...

After that, my parents began to teach and test me more often.

Every month they would try to bring up something new, it's quite surprising, they even tried to teach me how to write (I wasn't even 2 year old), but since I noticed that if I displayed intelligence they would teach me more, I just did everything, of course some things wasn't THAT good, like holding a pen, it can be more difficult than what I imagine, I blame on my under development body.

However, now that I'm 4 year old, I'll be learning some martial arts movements (at least that is what I've been told), but currently I'm finishing a digital sketch mother made me fill with colors... I think…

I did a pretty good job in this flower, it looks like a lotus of some sort.

"Hey my genius boy! Ready for training?!" My father entered the room, as loud as ever, I didn't get scared (I got used to it somehow), but my mother who was concentrating, working on something, jumped like a scared cat.

Thus, a small fight between a bear and a cat began, yet again…

Of course, my mother was the bear in this scene…

Although father is taller, mother isn't so small either. They usually begin the fight with a blank and serious face, but as the fight goes by the giggles come out, and they end up laughing.

Maybe, because they aren't poor, but they are different from my old parents… Probably because of all the stress my old parents had (they weren't as energetic and happy)…

Whatever, after my parents finished their "fight", I was escorted towards a training room (the same one my father used), as we arrived I saw my guardian, Aldoh (the doctor who saved me), sitting in the middle of the room, it seemed like he was meditating, so I didn't said much, however, he noticed us and got up.

"Haral! You are as loud as ever, I could hear you giggling from here."

"Nah, It's your ears that are too sensitive!" Father said, after laughing out loud.

"Hi, uncle!"

"Hi, Luken! Ready to start your training?" He said after messing up my hair.

I'm still 4 years old, but I'm somewhat curious to see what this training might be...

"Yes, Sir!"

"Then, go with your father and change to a kimono."

[

Author Note:

I'll use kimono, to explain a cloth similar to those found in martial arts. I won't be creating a whole-other name, at least not for small details like this, it could make your guys more confused, hope you understand.

"Alright." I said, as I followed my father towards a smaller room at the right.

After changing, I came back and saw Aldoh, sitting in the middle of the room, and in front of him, two pillows.

He asked me and my father to sit on the pillows, legs crossed.

We did as we were told. Although the pillow size was nearly enough for my father, it was a bit too big for a 4-year-old body.

"Okay, now we will start our preparations for mana cultivation."

Wait, mana cultivation? I didn't hear about that on the Prisma, however, judging by the name, I should take it seriously.

"Remember Luken, right now, you should breathe, in and out, just like me, relax your body and mind, but there's no need to close your eyes yet, okay?"

"Alright."

As I looked at him, I noticed how he breathed; it was like breathing in (until full), holding for a minute or less, then breathing out, breathing in, breathing out a little, breathing in, breathing out (everything), hold, then repeat everything.

I started, and repeated, we continued it for a few minutes, and I began to feel light-headed, then Aldoh said I should stop, and that my training for today was done.

I wasn't so happy that it ended like that, so I stayed close to the door looking. They continued the so-called Mana Cultivation for hours, however, one thing was different…

I thought the reason I got dizzy was because I was still young and my body wasn't ready for it, but as soon as I realised that my father and Aldoh also stopped after a few moments, I understood; it may not be just that.

Then I approached, laid more comfortably on the floor (belly on the floor); and began paying closer attention to every move they made.

Previously, I assumed they had simply stopped breathing; however, they did not stop breathing; rather, they continued, but their breathing was so smooth that it appeared they were not breathing at all.

I continued a little longer, looking, and trying to figure something out…

That's when I had an idea and decided to leave.

I first went to my parents' room, where I noticed my mother was incredibly focused on her research (similar to engineering).

Next, I went to my room and sat on my pillow, which I had thrown on the floor.

I started the same breathing from before, moments after, I felt light-headed again, then I stopped, kind of, I tried to breath as little and controlled as possible, just like father and Aldoh.

I closed my eyes, and then I felt it!

I tried to grasp it, however, I couldn't, so I repeated the process, and again… I couldn't grasp it. Dammit!

If you want to know how it went, it's like when something gets stuck between your teeth, and you know it's there, then you try to get it out using your tongue, but you can't, so you try again, and repeat, until your tongue starts to hurt, but instead of your tongue and teeth it's your whole body trying to get something from the surroundings. It's annoying!

I think I can try three times max…

So, I'll try only two more. Just because this is a 4-year-old body, and I don't know what might happen to my body.

Better be cautious than go vegetable.

I started again, breathing in…

It was then, at my last try, when I felt light-headed, I continued, just one more round before meditating(the processes of smooth breathing), and it just happened…

I got pushed back! Falling with my back to the ground.

A few moments later…

I woke up, my head was hurting a bit, so I just stayed still, however, when I opened my eyes...

Two system windows? What system tho... Whatever it may be, what it's saying makes sense, but why did I become like this?

I'll think about this later, now I should go drink something and then sleep… What the…

This system interface is following my field of vision!

Even with my face close to the ground it stays still in front of my eyes.

Is there a way to close this? Oh… It closed…

Will it close if I think about it?! Then, if I want to open it… Oh damn… Haha, it opened...

What witchcraft is this?! Not even the most modern Prisma I've seen can read minds.

...

I got to the kitchen, climbed on a chair bigger than me, grabbed a glass and went to the fridge door, filled a glass with water, and then got a jolt that made me drop the glass of water.

"Lu! Why are you bleeding?! My baby!"

My mother screamed as she saw me, apparently my head was bleeding...

But why didn't that system tell me, though?

"Hold still, I'll heal you."

Oh... the same light that Aldoh used, mother knows it too!

It's a nice thing, at least I know about that now.

"My dear! You're so dehydrated?"

Right?! I was about to drink water, if you didn't startle me...

"Come here, I'll feed you."

Damn, I'm nearly five already…

But whatever, I can't say no, otherwise things might get worse, and also…

I'm so tired...
