Shane's 'Gift' To Avalon

Since Avalon is the esper with the physic ability she has above average intelligence, and processing ability which makes certain things easier for her. One of those things is calculations, she can do quick calculations or such to insure that she will succeed in certain scenarios. This was how she reacted quickly when the cliff edge begun to beak and knew she could reach the rope to stop herself from falling to her death (without using her ability). This is a natural thing so even if she doesn't use her ability she is capable of performing it.

After shooting the additional rounds she looked over at Lukas. "Bring over the guns, I'm going to show you how to take apart and put the guns back together and also show you how to maintain them." Lukas told Avalon she nodded and turned on the safety for the guns before taking up the guns and taking them over to a different spot, with a little difficulty since she was carrying 4 different guns of varying size and length, even with the sniper strapped to her back it was still a challenge.

"Are you having trouble carrying that much weight?" Lukas asked noticing her struggle.

"No sir. The weight isn't the issue. I don't have a holster for the pistol and proper holder from the other two guns they are just difficult to hold all at once that's all." Roan replied with a slight huff. When she reacted the table and set down the guns Lukas begun to describe to Avalon in detail how to maintain, disassemble and reassemble they guns. After each explanation/showing Avalon repeated what she was shown to show that the understood when he told her which took a few hours. When they were done Avalon was dismissed and allowed to go for dinner.

When she got to the mess hall she met up with Antonio. "How was everything?" Antonio asked after they sat down together at the table.

"It wasn't that bad. I got to have breakfast before we started thankfully. My body is in a normal state thankfully. My brother came and gave me some things, and also told me something as well."

"Oh? How is Shane?"

"Not bad. He's been a great help with certain things and such."

Avalon took a bite of her food. "I want to take a shower so will you come with me?" Roan asked. Antonio's face heated up slightly.

"What? Ah- we-"

"I want you to keep look out idiot. I'm not asking you to take a shower with me." Roan hissed under her breath so only Antonio could hear her, his ears quickly turned red. "I see you as a friend. I'd never do such a thing Coco would never forgive me for one."

"The second thing?"

"I don't see you that way dude. Plain and simple, you are in the friend zone with me for life." Roan huffed rolling her eyes. "If you eat fast enough I can take a shower or it will be later tonight."

"Well its going to be later tonight cause I'm not eating any faster."

"Fine."

Avalon puffed her checks a little to acted as if she was upset before chuckling slightly flashing a smirk. The two then finished eating before leaving the mess hall. There was still sometime left so Avalon took Antonio to her room. "This is the box I got from Shane."

"What's in it?"

"A few different things. Medical stuff, chocolate and snacks, medicine, feminine hygiene products, birth control too. Enough stuff to last about 4 months."

"Shane got that for you?!"

"Yeah… I'm surprised. But he did this in high school for me. Though that doesn't mean I don't feel bad for him having him do this for me." Avalon sighed with a slight wave of her hand. "One day I'll pay him back for everything he's done. … I'll pay everyone back for their support." she muttered clenching her fist.

"Did he bring you any smut novels?"

"Waah?! N-n-no!" Avalon exclaimed her voice a pitch higher her face turning slightly red. She pushed the box behind her and looked away.

"He did didn't he."

"…"

Avalon looked away. "Sigh… I shouldn't have asked. Of course he'd send you one. You've loved them since we were younger."

"… shut up! I was a 30 year old in a child's body! It wasn't shameful!"

"That might be the case. But you should have refrained till at least you were out of elementary school."

"I wanted to see if the stories are the same in this world." Avalon muttered looking away making an excuse.

"Hmm~ were they."

"Kinda… only little things were different."

"You still shouldn't have read one when you were 9."

"Just- agh. Stop talking about it please!"

"Alright alright. it's just fun to tease you sometimes. Miss ice queen."

Avalon just hit Antonio lightly on the back of his head before she stood up. "Can you go check the shower room? I'm going to put my things away."

"Sure, it shouldn't take me long."

Antonio left the room which gave Avalon time to put the stuff in the box away with her ability. After everything was put away she grabbed her things to be able to take a shower. "It's free let's go." Antonio said as he stuck his head in. Avalon nodded in reply and followed Antonio into the shower room.

"Stay on this side to watch the door." Avalon told Antonio after the door close. Her hair became long and turned its oddly natural blue colour. she walked around the wall and placed her things on the bench. She removed her gloves then slowly undressed. After removing her clothing waring nothing but a pair of flip-flops and bandages she untied the bandages that wrapped her chest and hands. She rolled her shoulders when the tight bandage around her chest was gone revealing her slight large breast.

She grabbed her things to wash herself before heading over the the shower's. She turned on the water letting it slide down her back. To her frozen body the water was quite warm, her body had yet to fully return to normal but now one would know that her body was chilled as if it was dead unless they touched her skin which she avoided. Not even Antonio was aware of this condition no one knew about it.

The warm water of the shower help her body to warm up, water streamed down her long blue hair that fell down in to her turned down face. She brought her hands out in front of her to look at the scaring rope burn. It was healing at a rate slightly faster that of a human's. She clenched her hand feeling the slight burning sensation from her hand.

'Big brother… I don't want to deal with him.' Avalon though as she raised her head letting the water hit her skin. She moved her head slightly and had her eyes half open allowing her thoughts to wander.
