Esme Controlled

Lukas moved forward but 'Esme' noticed and reacted letting go of Avalon's neck with one hand and grabbed the pistol on his side. Avalon's eyes open wide in surprise. 'If he had a gun why is he trying to choke me… oh god. Whoever it wants to kidnap me not kill me!' Avalon gasped feeling a chill run through her body. 'I'd rather die honestly.' she thought she looked at where the gun was aimed and before she could really do anything Esme fired.

It was to be a fatal shot and Avalon knew this. She turned her head away and her eyes flashed sliver from their violet colour and moved the trajectory of the bullet just enough to not be fatal as it hit Lukas. Lukas saw this momentary flash of Avalon's eyes but was not able to realize what he saw as he got it but the bullet in the shoulder.

Avalon held onto his one remained hand on her throat and swung her legs to kick the hand with the gun up in the air and out of his hand. "Now captain!" she coughed out.

Lukas then lunged forward at Esme at the same time Avalon kicked Esme in to distract him allowing Lukas to get close and punched Esme in the face with his gloved hand sending him to the ground. Avalon landed hard on the ground but Esme's grip relaxed allowing her to escape.

She was on her hands and knees coughing rubbing her sore and bleeding neck. "Are you alright Roan?" Lukas asked walking over to and holding out his ungloved hand. Avalon didn't think much of it and took his hand with her left hand. He helped Avalon to her feet, as he did so her looked at the injuries that she had from both falling down a hill and Esme. He noticed the handprint on her face, the marks on her neck from Esme's hands and the scratch marks. "I'm sorry I should have come sooner." Lukas muttered feeling a tang of guilt, that he thought for a second that it would have been better to let Esme just take 'Roan'.

Avalon shook her head. "It's fine. Esme wasn't initially trying to hurt me. It's my own fault it's turned out this way." Avalon replied with a scratchy and slight deep voice (but not her normal voice she uses to speak with the captain as Roan). He let go of Lukas's hand and stumbled as it appears her leg was more hurt now than she thought. She glanced down in dismay. "I seem to have caused a fair amount of trouble for you. I apologize." she muttered but then she noticed her bandage on her left hand and saw a handprint burn mark. She glanced at her captain but kept her mouth shut. 'I can't believe it. An esper. The captain is an esper… that's what Shane meant. Based on this it appears that his ability is Enchantment how unlucky for him that he got the acidic base enchantment in this world. But he seems to be managing at least though I'm fairly sure he doesn't know how to suppress the ability yet. Good thing earlier that this body has the ability immunity of the highest level otherwise that would have hurt.' Avalon thought Lukas followed Avalon's gaze and noticed the burnt marks on the bandages.

"I'm sorry for that."

"It's fine. You can't burn me so it's fine."

"How?"

"I could tell from the burn mark. You don't have to ever worry about hurting me so it's fine."

"Why?"

"Cause I'm like you. Expect I'm immune to things such as acid."

Lukas looked at Avalon in surprise but at that same time, it made sense, after what happened with the battery in the 13th unit. Avalon looked at Lukas notice his's praying eyes. "You are my captain but I'm not saying more. It's a secret, and honestly… I don't trust the military in the slightest, especially with this. I know what will happen if I carelessly reveal this secret." Avalon replied in a sharp tone. "… I thank you for helping me. Cause the person controlling Esme planed on kidnapping me because of my mistake." she added glancing over at him.

"Honestly I would like it if you just forget what happened tonight. Cause I'm sure Esme won't remember much of it." Avalon muttered touching her neck lightly. "It would be better that way. Could you please deal with my brother… I don't want to be here when he wakes up." she added with a cold glance over at Esme. Without much else of a word, she limped off and slowly made her way to her room.

She closed the door behind her and got out the first aid kit. Taking the first aid kit she went to the washroom and begun to clean out her dirt coated wounds. she slowly wipes her neck injury and noticed the bruising that had begun to appear on her throat. She frowned slightly as she carefully wiped clean the scratches on her neck, wincing slightly as she touched her neck. After cleaning begun to slowly wrap her neck when someone burst into the room.

Avalon looked over and it was the last person she wanted to see Capt. Fischer. "… 2Lt. Ah someone finally put you in your place have they." he laughed. On any other day, she would have ignored him but it's been on a hell of a day for Avalon and she wasn't in a good mood.

"Do you have something to say? I got more important things to deal with than you right now, so do what you need and go."

It was fairly quiet for the next few minutes as Avalon continued to treat her own wounds. That was until Capt. Fischer came up from behind Avalon and slammed her head into the wall in an attempt to knock her out which didn't work out. She snapped, "that's it!"Avalon growled a large amount of energy spread out around her and her eyes flashed silver once again. "[You will leave this bathroom right away, and forget about what I just did.]" Avalon ordered in an odd voice.

Fischer's eyes gained a slight silver/purple hue to them and without argument left the bathroom. Letting out a sigh Avalon feel to her knees. She was tired of this day off everything. but she also knew that this was just her emotions on a high. This was usually what happens the day after a full moon her emotions were often heightened as well. She took some breaths before feeling this pain from having her head hit against a wall. She then finished tending to her injuries before heading back to her room.
