The Silver Esper [Stopped]

[Mature content] There are depictions of violence/gore and abuse towards characters. There is also swearing as well in this story. __________________________________________________________________ People with abilities, powers of which normal humans can not use. Monster's, freaks, people have called those with these abilities with such names, but there is one name that became attached to them eventually, Esper. The strongest of all abilities is physic, an ability that makes nearly anything possible for a skilled user. Sent to another world similar to her original she lives as Avalon Kanze a girl with rocky blood relations. Living in a country that didn't exist in the other world Niahurii, she is forced by her blood relations to join the military as a man. Unwilling, but the deal they strike is the only reason for her doing so. Avalon's lazy days in the military begin to change when that man appeared. Plans begin to change, new conflicts and allies begin to arrive. Can she keep her identity a secret or will they learn the truth? But most of all can she keep her darkest secret, the truth about her 'disease' and condition from everyone. __________________________________________________________________ "I can't believe they are forcing you to do this just to cut ties with them. How ridiculous since they've never treated you like family." "There is nothing I can do but to do this... as a man. On the bright side, we get to see the inner works of things here so we can use the useful points." "How can you be so optimistic when they are sending you to a suicide unit." "I've already died once and experienced true hell on earth. This is honestly child's play in comparison. So I see no reason to be afraid." Avalon sighed as she tightened the bandage around her chest. "Besides this world is behind in comparison. My ability will ensure I survive. So don't worry once it's all said and done. We will no longer stand for them. I will change this world from my 'home'. So dear brother be ready for the 2nd coming of Raijia's Silver Esper."

A Quick Fight

Capt Fischer taking the chance raced forward and landed a punch in the jaw. The force caused Avalon to fall back into a table. She pushed herself up from the table and let out a low laugh as she cracked her jaw. "Not bad but it will take more than that to knock me out." Roan muttered as she wiped away the blood from her lip.

She then dashed forward closing the distance between them in a few moments causing slight surprise. Avalon had her arms up in a fighting position as Capt Fischer swung and she ducked under the hook before she sent a jab into his stomach causing him to lose the air in his lungs. Then attacked his side right away.

To her, he was full of holes and a poor fighter. No guard and not ready to counter at any chance he got. He swung at her again this time she blocked it and held on to his arm before kicking him in the knee causing him to fall and she quickly used that to put him in a position pulling his one arm back behind him with a foot on his back. Causing a fair amount of pain and discomfort. After a few moments, she let go of his arm out of mercy. "Next time listen when you are told to stop. Cause I won't sit back when you slander my friend and his home." Roan growled as she began to walk away however he didn't give up and got to his feet and went in for the attack.

Avalon reached quickly dodging the attack before spinning around and decking him in the side of the head sending him to the ground. She stood over him looking down with a displeased look. She didn't feel bad in the slightest and turned around with a bored expression on her face. "Someone should take him to the infirmary cause he's unconscious from that blow." Roan huffed as she flexed her fingers slightly noticing the red of blood on the bandages on her hand. It wasn't Capt Fischer's rather she's from going too far in what her hands could handle.

Avalon grabbed a napkin and spit in it spitting out some blood. She then swept up the pieces of the shattered glass throwing it out and getting rid of the last of her food before turning and leaving the mess hall taking her gloves with her. Antonio quickly followed after Avalon nervous about her fearing what might happen when she was livid like this.

The air around Avalon was charged with energy. A growl escaped from her lips, as she made her way over to a large rock that was embedded in the ground. Her breaths became ragged before she let out a howl of anger and kicked the rock with her full strength not holding anything back. The rock slightly moved slightly and it caused the slight crack.

"Ava clam down." Antonio muttered actually fearful of his friend at this moment. It was reasonable that he was as Avalon was by all rights extremely dangerous, and when in this heightened emotional state her power's were not entirely under her control. "I understand your anger, but you know full well what will happen if they learn of us."

"Rrragh!" Avalon roared kicking the rock once again. "It pisses me off! How this country… no world treats people of 'lower' class. You treat the life of others taking it for granted and do not see the value of life. Rather place idiotic labels! You would never deal with the bullshit and atrocities in my world. We don't abide by letting such things go especially towards individuals no matter their background. It's inconsiderate and rude! The worse discrimination in my old world was the matter of race and the evolved (another term for Esper's) but we were working towards peace and unity between everyone. Something like what Fischer just said would not be so easily tolerated especially within the government or military!" Avalon growled dust kicking up around her. "I don't like hearing about such things especially such comments to those I care about. My friends and comrades are precious to me more so than my own life! It pisses me off more when they talk about our home when they've never been there! They don't understand the horror we've had to deal with because of this regressed idiotic thinking." Ava hissed clenching her fist tightly trying to quell her anger.

Avalon began to that deep breaths and counted in her head as she placed her hand on her chest lightly feeling her locket under her uniform. The air around her begun to calm down as she began to reign her emotions back under control. She looked up towards the sky and leaned against the slightly broken rock. Antonio could tell that Avalon had begun to clam down and return to her normal rational composed self. "Fuck… I'm going to get in trouble for that."

"You can say he started it cause he did hit you first."

"Sigh… who knows if that's gonna fly. I knocked Capt Fischer out cold… and probably scared everyone in the frickin mess hall with that little performance."

"Well I can say that it is unlikely that anyone here will likely cross you."

"Oh thanks so reassuring."

It was nearing sunset as Avalon stood outside with Antonio when all of sudden her vision begun to blur and her legs collapsed. She caught a hold of Antonio's arm and shook her head slightly to clear her vision but her head still felt very fuzzy and realized her body started to feel excessively heavy. "Ava?" Antonio asked concern clear in his voice when she suddenly stumbled. She could feel herself grow colder. She looked up at the sky and her body shivered from realization of what was currently happening.

"Damn it. Of all nights, I had to go do something stupid tonight." Avalon cursed as she forced herself to stand but was weak in the knees but there was nothing she could do to stop this. She looked up at the sky and saw the familiar and dreaded (for Ava), the Full Red Moon.

"What's wrong?"

"Do you remember what the red moon looked like last night?"

"It was nearly full was it not. Why do you-" Antonio replied then stopped as a sudden realization hit him. "Wait that is that still occurring?!"

"Do you think it was something that would suddenly rectify itself?! Of course, it is still happening." Avalon huffed as she leaned against Antonio. "I've been so distracted with joining the new unit it got away from me. I'm such an idiot."

"I can't blame you for that it has been fairly hectic."

"Mmm. It doesn't matter much now. You need to help me to my room before it's too late."

"Right I don't want to explain why I'm carrying you."

"That's not the only problem idiot my metamorphosis skill of physic with deactivate as well!" Avalon hissed sending him a sharp glare. Her face was white as snow that you'd think she was sick or a deadman, it was something that Antonio has never gotten used to.
