Morning 8am

I stir from my sleep, groaning as the sunlight fell on my face disturbing my sweet sleep. I turned on bed, opening my eyes slightly to find Fred long gone, my sleep went away at that realisation. I felt myself sink a little, a broken smile spreading on my lips, I woke up and sat up straight.

Causing my head starting to pound, there was a glass of lemon water place on the near by table, and a note was placed beneath it. My smile brighten up, I grabbed the note and read it.

Good morning my Pumpkin Queen. Sorry I had to leave early morning, had few things to get done. I have prepared breakfast and coffee for you. Lemon water is placed on the table drink it before you get out of bed it'll help you with headache. Have a good day and message me once you are up. And yes I gave your car keys to Lily, she will give them back to you when she returns, sorry if I overstepped the boundary. We have alot to talk about.

I blushed at the nickname he gave me and soon the memories from yesterday started to flow in, making me redder and redder with passing moment. My fingers went up to my lips, caressing them for a few seconds, I looked out of window at the bright sun. I frowned a little as I thought about Lily, she did dropped me a message, but not the reason maybe something is up anyway. I continued to look out of the window.

While I was admiring the sun a thought passed my mind, "Maybe yesterday was just another drunk night thing for him. Just like 3 years ago." My face dropped a little but I did my best to distract my mind away from him and his thoughts.

Taking the glass of lemon water and gulping it down slowly, sending a message to Fred and told him to bring the records L.A. government sent. Another message was sent on group, telling everyone to come to my apartment.

I got out of bed and got fresh, having breakfast and coffee. It was 13:00 when the doorbell ranged, I went to open the door I found Nora, Alex, Lily, Ethan and Grace at the doorstep. Inviting everyone in, we all took our place, "Wait for few moments Fred is on his way. But the only problem we have is he says that, there are too many records."

"No issues we will spilt up files that way we will get done with it before tomorrow." Lily said with a smile.

"By the way, did you found anything about Oliver?" Ethan questioned, causing my face to drop. Sighing I shook my head, looking at Nora I mouthed a sorry.

The doorbell drawn everyone's attention. I went to open the door to find Fred standing in door, I looked up at him and smiled. This was the first time I realised that he was so tall, he leaned down and planted a kiss on my forehead. I blushed like a tomato. I believed that it was not a thing of one drunk night, still I was not so sure.

"Ohh, I see why someone left the night out so soon. Mmm not bad, not bad." Grace teased, making me want to hide my face.

"Ok enough. Let's get to work." I grabbed the bunch of files from Fred and placed them on the table.

"Wow.. We need to be as fast as a robot to read these files" Alex's words made every laugh.

"Maybe yes but let's do it!" I cheered and started to distribute the files. Everyone got 11 files by end of the distribution.

"Wow.. 11.. That's good number, sorry to say but I doubt that we will finish these files by today." Fred stared the files down.

"I don't even want to hear that words. Better get to work, I don't want to hear any complaints. We going to sort the files which have Miss. Audrey James and Mrs. Avery Johnsen in same team." I give Fred a look, which made him open the file in his hand.

A smile spread over my lips, opening the file and staring to read the information. It contained the information of experiment or project, and a photo of every team member.

At 5pm evening

By evening we sorted all the files, Totally 35 files had record of both of them working in same team. We all took a small coffee break, I went to kitchen to brew some coffee for all of us. Fred followed me hot on heels, I could hear the small giggles and whispers happened behind me, when Fred followed me.

"I want to talk with you." Fred leaned against the counter.

"It's not the right time. We all are tired and busy too. And I don't think this topic will be over so soon you know." I was not ready to have this topic maybe I was afraid.

"If we keep talking and try our best then we can deal with it in better way."

"You can't wrap this kind of topics so easily and immediately. And I don't know why but I haven't forgotten what happened in past." I filled the mugs, placing them in tray.

"You know it was nothing.. I explained you and I'm sorry for what happened. I'm really glad that you are even talking and tolerating me after all that. But I really want something more, something else." Fred's voice hold many emotions, flash back of past started running in my mind, occupying the space faster than anything.

"I don't know, we will talk about this after sometime, you know there is something else and serious going right now." I smiled and walked past him. I head Fred sigh, I never wanted to keep stuck in my past, but I can't really get out of this, even when I know it was no one's fault.

I came back in hall, handing everyone their mugs, and sitting back in my chair. I opened the first file out of sorted, going through them I found a photo of the lady I saw in TAKE bar with that man. I put my mug down nearly slamming it on the table.
