Under the mask

After sewing the two sides of the mask to the vest's collar, Meryl added little details for it to blend and not attract attention. The colours matched, the design too, only the other side of it was specially designed to look like a wolf.

A distant howl resounded in the valley. Only Oswald heard it and told his mother he had to check it. He knew plenty of different howls, because he spent a lot of time with the pack, his instincts would help him decipher the message it carried. Yet it was his first time hearing it.

He put his hood and closed the mask on his face, the lack of size made it loose at first, but after a few hundred meters running in the forest, his clothes matched his build.
