Chapter 3: First day of school

Diane:

I wake up to the annoying sound of my alarm clock.

That's weird, I don't remember setting any alarms today. In annoyance I try sending it to the ground but I can't fine my night stand.

Double weird.

My eyes shoot open and the room looks so unfamiliar.

Right I'm in Holly's room. Wait a minute. It's Monday!!

"Wake up sleepyhead" holly screams from her bathroom

"I'm up I'm up" I said as i got off her bed and grabbed my toiletry bag from my suitcase

I sprinted into the bathroom and took a quick shower. I got out and picked out an outfit which was my pink crop top and blue jeans with my adorable converse

I used my favorite strawberry lipgloss, grabbed my book bag and went down stairs

Seconds later, Holly came downstairs in a blue denim shorts, a white inner and a matching jacket. Her hair was styled into ocean waves and her nike shoes were so adorable

"You ready?" She asked

"I'm a little nervous" I said honestly

"We all are but trust me you'll wanna get out of that hell hole too" she said

"Thanks cuz"

"Umm where's your body guard?" Holly asked curiously

"He texted me and said we should meet at school" I answered

"Oh okay" she said grabbing her bag, keys as we exited her house

*** At Ridgewood high

"Woah" I said as we walked into the hallway.

It's just like I imagined it. I can't believe I'm finally going to a real school!!

I am so nervous

"Ladies?" Ben called

"Hola" I said

"Hey" holly greeted back

"Ben and I are gonna get our schedules and head to class" I said

"But before that lemme  give you a few tips for having the most perfect and unnoticed life in highschool" holly said smirking

"*Always keep your head down

* Never ever be the center of attention

*Always do your work

*Stay away from the populars

*Have a perfect attendance (unfortunately)

And Bam! You have a totally unnoticed life in highschool. You can thank me later... " Holly said as she wipes her nails on her shirt

"Do we need this?" Ben asked

"Yeah can't we just play it cool and wait for my Troy Bolton to come ?" I asked dreamily

Oh don't look at me like that!! Let a girl dream

"For the upteenth time, highschool movies are lies!!" She said a little louder than normal which caused a few stares

"I am so unnoticed and I'm happy about it. I don't have to get all dressed up and I don't need to tweeze and floss whenever the populars are coming." She continued

"Whatever" Ben said as he grabbed my hand and led the way to the secretary's office to get our schedules

"Good morning miss" I said as politely as I could

"Morning" she said with a squidward tone

"Umm we'd like to get our schedules please" Ben said

"Names?" She asked

"Ben Hart and.." ben stopped and looked at me

"Jasmine Hall" I answered for him

She looked into a file cabinet and brought out to cardboard envelopes and handed them to us

"Thanks" we chorused and left her office and found holly Walking with her books strapped around her chest

"You guys got your schedules?" She asked

"Yeah" I answered

"What do you guys have first period" she asked as we brought out the papers in the envelope

English 8am-9:30 am Room 12b, Mrs Smith

Math 9:30-10am room 5a, Mr Richard

Chemistry 10am-11am room 7 Miss Allen

"So I have English first" I said smiling

"Bummer. I have math" she said sadly

"Me too" Ben said smirking

The scowl on my face deepened

"But wait . The most important rule is stay away from Brett wilson" she said with so much horror

"Why?" I asked curiously

"Because he's the baddest, and number one Playboy in the entire school. He's so annoying! I wonder what the whole school sees in him."

"Ohh" I said

"He probably doesn't know how to spell his own name. But because of his money and looks everyone thinks he's a god or something. " She said with her classic eye roll

"The point is, stay away from him he's bad news" she said and a bell rung

"What does that mean?" I ask

"It's time for class" she said as we split up

I walked around a bit and was really confused.

Where the heck is room 12b??

"Watch where you're going" a deep voice said sending a shock down my spine. which led to all my books flying.

"Ohh sorry" I said picking up my books and walking away

"I'm not done with you" he said pulling me by the arm

"I said I was sorry"

"do you know who I am?" he said

how ironic 😂. my subconscious states

"no, I don't think I want to" I said rolling my eyes

"nobody talks to me like that. I'm gonna get you back nerd" he said in a harsh tone

"whatever" I said rolling my eyes and walking away leaving him, his minions and the audience which I didn't notice shocked

I finally found my homeroom. Taking deep breaths, I walked into the class. I took a seat at the middle of the room and waited for the rest of the class to settle down.

"Good morning class" Mrs Smith said with a bored tone

"Good morning Mrs Smith" the entire class said with an equally bored tone

Geez.

" it says here we have a new student so could you please come to the front of the class and introduce yourself?" she said as I stood up nervously

Breathe diane, just breathe I said to myself as I walked to the front of the class

Luckily, public speaking is one of the things I do all the time because my dad is the senator

"Hi I'm jasmine Hall, my favorite color is royal blue and I'm excited to be here" I said with a smile

"Alright thanks, you can go back to your seat" she said as she took a sip of her coffee

"Now today we're going to talk about..." My teacher Miss Smith was saying untill she was cut off by the same punk who shoved me

"You're late Mr Wilson" she said referring to him

"Sorry Miss S" he said then winked at her

I swear I saw her cheeks red... Ew

Oh my gosh!? He gets away with everything even teachers let him rebel against the rules.

He walked over to a seat and all the girls in the entire class including the boys! We're catcalling and giggling at him.

"We love you Brett!" Some girls screamed with excitement

And he just winks at them in return  then  whole class squealed like a bunch of rats 

Oh the drama

He walks past my seat and he notices the huge scowl on my face. He winked at me but I just rolled my eyes.

I'm guessing this is Brett Wilson. I think I see what Holly means by him being annoying. But to be honest, he is really handsome. He has midnight black hair, forest green eyes, the perfect jaw line, he wore a black top that showed off how muscular he is, and his jeans were amazing.

Still annoying tho.

Miss Smith begins her rant about the respiratory system and I think I'm the only one actually listening to what she's talking about.

I feel something hit my head then I turn around and see Brett smirking at me. I just roll my eyes and turn around and continue scribbling down my notes.

Then I feel the same thing hit my neck... Again... I then turn around and he mouths "read it" to me. I  pick up the paper and I open it

"Hey nerd" the paper read

I roll my eyes again and a huge grin is plastered on his face. 

Don't let him distract you... Maybe if I just ignore him he'll stop.  I say to my self then continue scribbling down my notes

Then again I was hit by a ball of paper...

Dah! What is up with this boy!!???

I shoot an evil glare at him the he mouths read it again so I pick up the stupid paper and open it

"Damn nerd you look so hot when you glare at me" my cheeks flare in embarrassment How dare he act so naughty!? I say to myself

I hate him already!!

"if you throw a paper at me one more time... I swear to god I'll rat you out"  I write in a paper then throw it at Brett

He just smirks and throws the same paper at me

Oh I am gonna break that smirk hole!

"Miss Smith Brett has been throwing papers at me since the beginning of the class!" I rat out then turn around to smirk at him

He gives me a cold glare but his usual smirk returns to his face.

"Sorry Miss S... It's just that I love your shirt" he comments then winks at her and her cheeks were as red as an ugly tomato

"It's okay Brett you can sit down" she said adjusting her glasses while trying to hide her blushing

Oh the drama🙄🙄

he grins at me before sitting down and half of the class are snickering at me
