Chapter 20
TRINITY WAS fixing the things she’ll bring on the trip when her phone rings. She picked it up and look for the caller and Zach’s name registered.
"Hi," she greeted.
‘Where are you?’ he asked.
She put her phone between her shoulder and ear to zip her bag. “Condo.”
‘What time is your trip?’ he asked, seems cool. Like there’s nothing happened between them during lunch break. Is that easy for him to adjust and forget everything? Well, he’s a man after all.
"Eight. Why did you ask? Is there anything wrong? You seem occupied since you talked to the guy in the restaurant."
‘That's nothing. Can I come?’ Trinity was quite astonished because of what he said.
“Don’t you have work tomorrow? We’re staying there for about two days,” she replied. It’s a miracle that Zach was interested in her whereabouts. Is he like that to other girls? She heaved a deep sigh. Here I am again, judging people whom I barely know, she thought.
‘I'm the boss. So?’
