Chapter 13: The truth

"Maa, I like Rahul."

"What ? You like Rahul ! "

" But you both are guys, don't say me that you are gay."

" No, Maa I have this feeling only for Rahul and no one else. I don't know why but I feel that he is the one whom I can trust blindly and wants to grow old with him."

" But ? "

" Maa I told everything I had in my mind, Now it's your wish whether to accept me or scold me and make me leave."

" Son , give me some time to think. Till then you can go up and meet Rahul."

" Okay maa, I will be Waiting for your reply."

Prince comes up into Rahul's room and finds him sleeping. The bruises were still on his face ,stomach and chest. Prince held Rahul's hand and gave a small kiss on the hand. It was almost evening so Rahul thought that his mother had brought dinner for him.So he opens his eyes and to his surprise he finds Prince Vir sitting there.

" Why ! Why ? why are you here? Maa why do you let anyone to my room."

"Rahul ! please forgive me , Iam at fault I never wanted to treat you like that."

" Forgive you ? Who am I to forgive you. I don't even know you. So please leave."

" I was misguided Rahul,due to misunderstanding I couldn't see Julie's cunningness and your love."

"Why are you here ? Don't you have marriage tomarrow? please leave as soon as possible. I don't want my home to be burnt by your mens."

" Rahul ! please understand me, I can't live without you . I love you so much you fool."

" Why there is a problem living without me? You lived without me for past 5 years then Why not the whole life."

"Rahul , you don't know how much I suffered leaving you. I couldn't say goodbye to you properly just because of my mom."

" Why bring mom in the meddle?"

" Because she already knows about you and me long back , hence to forget you and keep distance from you I was forced to go London."

"whatever happened in the last few days seeing that I still can't believe you."

" What do you want me to do to make you believe that how much I love you."

" Just leave now, that's more than enough . I have suffered a lot just because of you."

"Rahul if you say like this then my life would be hell without You. So Iam gonna end this forever."

" Stop talking nonsense and go attend your marriage."

Prince Vir leaves the room takes his car and drives towards the highway.On the other hand Rahul's mom comes to meet Rahul in his room.

" Rahul, why did Prince Vir leave? "

" I asked him to leave"

"but Why? "

" He was talking nonsense, so I asked him to leave And also just because him we faced many problems and now tired of it."

" does loving some one is nonsense?"

Rahul is shocked and turns towards her.

" Maa!!"

" Yes! dear , Prince told me everything about you and him. I am okay until you are happy and also I know that no one can love you more than him."

" Maa , but we both are guys!"

" So what ? Love is not confined to gender,caste or religion. It can happen with anyone anywhere. Love is the most beautiful thing that can happen to anyone. Not everyone on this Earth are blessed with such beautiful thing and what did you do? You asked him to leave."

" Maa, if I and Prince get together then you will not get grandchildren."

" Iam not greedy as other grannies or mothers, I want my son to be happy.Now call him and ask him to come back."

Rahul calls Prince , but Prince didn't respond.Rahul gets worried and callsMs Briganza. From there he finds that Prince was missing and everyone are worried.Rahul gets worried about Prince,he takes his bike and goes towards the main road. He had picture of the car used by Prince, he shows the picture to the people nearby and finds that the car had moved towards the highway. Rahul takes the highway and sees moving vehicles for prince. Travelling some distance ahead Rahul finds that there was a car that had hit the tree and no one was there as it was almost midnight.

Rahul stops his bike and goes towards the car, was shocked to see the car of Prince in such a condition. He starts shivering when he saw Prince in the car and was bleeding heavily. He opened the door of the car and starts to plead for help. He stops a car and asks to help him to nearby hospitals. The car owner agrees and drops him to the nearby hospital, Rahul shouts for emergency and makes Prince admitted immediately. Rahul informs Ms Briganza about Prince and when he saw them coming he left secretly. Rahul was disheartened and torn apart from inside, he came home and was crying a lot. The tears didn't stop dripping from his eyes until it swelled. On other hand in the hospital Ms sunita was pretending to care for prince but no one knew that she was just acting up.

Ms Julie was also standing next to Ms sunita, she also started to cry just seeing Ms sunita but less she knew that it was just put up act. Doctor says that his conditions were serious and any could happen so he is under serious surveillance. Ms sunita acts of Crying, later she asks Ms Briganza to stay and look after Prince as she had other work to deal with. Ms sunita and Ms Julie left the room and were in the corridor all alone talking about something. Ms Briganza wanted to ask about Ms Julie when she eavesdropped their conversation.

" Ms Sunita, you really love Prince so much! You were crying so much."

" Crying? Love ? My foot, I didnt cry it was just magic of this tear drops."

" It means you were acting up ? But why ? Don't you love your own son?"

" He is not my son "

Ms Julie was shocked to hear those words and continued

" Then whose son his Prince Vir and why did you raise him"

" Of course he is the Prince, but iam his step mother. His fatherThe king of Raput family fell in love with me , a prostitute."

" Yes ! I used to be a prostitute when his father came and proposed me for marriage."

" Then what happened ? Did prince's real mother accept you?"

" The marriage was done secretly and when I came to palace his mother was shocked but she was considerate and welcomed me."

"No doubt Prince is same as his mother."

" Yes ! But I was not. I didn't wanted my son to live a life of subordinate."

" You already have another son? I mean your own son."

" Yes ! I already had a son before marriage .But only few know about him being my son."

" Where is he now ? and why I haven't met him till now?"

" I had sent him to United States when he was 5 years of old with my brother. don't worry you will him see him very soon."

" What will you do with Prince?"

" His health is already critical who knows what will happen to prince"

Ms Briganza was in mental distress when she heard all those conversations from them.She immediately calls Rahul to reach the hospital. Rahul rushed and met Ms Briganza, she explained everything to Rahul about Ms Sunita. Rahul was panicked to hear the conversation. So he decided to run away with Prince, but Ms Briganza stopped Rahul and makes him understand the seriousness of the situation. Ms Briganza advises Rahul to stay with Prince in the palace and protect him from the evil Ms sunita and Julie. Rahul sits beside Prince , holds his hand and confesses his love to him.

" You idiot, how couldnt you see that how much I love you? I fell for you the day when you were drunk and talked shit. If I hadn't loved you then I would have got married long ago but I waited for you for 5 years and when you came back ,again act like Egoistic Prince. I always liked you and no one, so please wake up because I can't live without you."

Rahul leans on Prince's chest starts crying.
