Chapter 68

(A/N Notes: Yesterday I got distracted by other things, that I forgot to publish, and when I remembered it was already really late into the night)

Inside the Student Council room, a meeting occurred between Yuriko, the Student council president of Yama High, and Himari, the Student council president of Tani High. The two were sitting down on the sofas in the middle of the room while facing each other, with the coffee table in between them.

Differently from a few minutes ago, Himari was now showing a very professional smile and had a very serious atmosphere around her, a stark difference from her initial annoyed appearance from when Yuriko greeted her at the door. As for the other two inside the room, being Takeru and Sakurako…

"…" *Sips the tea*

"…" *Places down a teacup in front of Himari*

They were remaining silent, with Takeru, doing his task as the student council secretary, in this case serving tea to everyone, while Sakurako was sitting right beside Himari to help her in any problem that may or may not happen.

"So, Himari-san, how have you been doing lately?"

"I've been doing fine, very fine indeed"

Himari flashed a very confident smile, way too confident, and she had a very good reason for that.

"…" <Kukukuku… It's over, Yuriko-san. I have finally beaten you in something! Because last week… got a fiancee! And considering that the time we met, were definitely having relationship troubles, not know with whom, but I'm ahead of this regard! Ohohohoho!>

"…" *Continues to sip the tea* <I want to sleep… This tea is good, but I drink Ichiro's coffee… … Himari-chan probably thinking about something completely unrelated>

As the two cousins were having useless thoughts, Takeru who had just finished putting a teacup in front of Yuriko was about to walk away, but before he could react, Yuriko grabbed his left arm, and pulled him, forcibly causing him to sit on her lap. That was immediately followed by Yuriko tightly hugging him.

"…" <Are? W-What?>

At that scene happening right in front of her eyes, Himari's thoughts came to a sudden halt, as her feeling of superiority was washed away almost instantly by that sight.

"Y-Yuriko-san?"

"What is it, Himari-san?"

"Erm… Are you two perhaps… Dating?"

With a confused and worried face, Himari asked as she pointed at the blushing Takeru. Yuriko at hearing the question, showed a quite surprised face, before returning to her beaming smiling expression.

"Yes, we are dating!"

And as if to confirm even more, Yuriko kissed Takeru on the cheek. Hearing the answer, Himari's previous confidence was smashed to smithereens.

<No! It's too early to give up! I'm sure that I started dating before Yuriko-san!… … Right? Right???> "I-I see… T-Then F-For h-how l-long h-have you t-two b-been dating?"

With trembling hands, Himari picked up her teacup and asked another question to Yuriko, who then made a thinking expression as she thought about it. Then just as Himari was taking a sip of the tea, Yuriko showed a face that she just found the answer to the question.

"I and Takkun have been dating a little over a month now!"

"!?"

At hearing of the fact that Yuriko and Takeru had been dating for way longer than her, Himari could feel that the tea she had just sipped was trying to go down the wrong tube.

This caused her to not pay attention, to everything else Yuriko started talking about her relationship with Takeru for a few seconds as she did her best to hold back from coughing loudly, but when she had managed to recover just enough to pay attention to what Yuriko was saying. However that was right in the middle of her excitement, and Yuriko would drop a bomb way bigger than the rest.

"And I still can't forget that day weeks ago, when Takkun went on the initiative and took away my first ti-"

Takeru who was feeling like digging a hole and never coming out of it, covered Yuriko's mouth with both of his hands in a desperate attempt to make her stop talking about the certain incident that he still regrets doing. But it was too late, as Himari easily guessed what Yuriko was about to say.

"Bffft! *Coughing wildly* Ack! You two had sex!?"

Without any care for appearance, Himari said the taboo word out loud to her surprise.

"I-I-It's not like that…"

Takeru weakly tried to argue back, but because of his embarrassment, he couldn't do anything but give his usual tsundere response. But that was the smallest of his concerns right now because his attention was being diverted away from keeping Yuriko quiet, who immediately went to answer Himari's surprise

"Yes, we already had our first time! And we've been doing it every day since!"

"Aaaaaaaaaahhhh!"

Takeru couldn't do anything but scream in despair as Yuriko kept on revealing more of their embarrassing secrets without any shame. While Himari and Sakurako only had looks of surprise at the two. Then Himari lowered her face.

"Why?…"

"?"

"Why are you always ahead of me in everything?! When I finally thought I was ahead of you by finally getting a fiancee last week, you tell me that you're already having sex!?"

"Wah! You are engaged to someone, Himari-san? Congratulations!"

"Eh? Ah! T-Thanks… Wait, I'm engaged to someone before you, then this is my win!"

"I don't really get what you mean by that, but I'm happy for you, Himari-san!"

At the same ease that Himari felt despair, she easily regained her confidence, as she felt that her status as Yuriko's (self-declared) rival was secured for the time being.

However, amidst the fuzz and buzz between Himari and Yuriko. Sakurako, who had put her teacup back on the table, was silent as she made a thinking expression, one that anyone could easily see that she was very serious about what she was thinking. Then as if reaching a conclusion, Sakurako quietly raised her right, conveying that she wanted to say something.

"! Is there something you want to ask, Kogane-san?"

Yuriko who noticed her gesture, asked so to Sakurako, which caused Himari to look at her as well.

"Nanami-san, as someone who has been in a romantic relationship for a month already… Is it normal to have sexual intercourse with your partner in that period of time?"

"Huh?… If it's normal… To have my first time in less than a month?"

At the question, Yuriko once again made a thinking expression, while Takeru and Himari could only make surprised faces at Sakurako's question.
