Chapter 4

A weird standoff was happening inside a classroom, on one side Takeru was silent due to the surprise he received, while his classmates were silent anxiously waiting for his response

"I..."

"..." *Tension intensifies*

"... I accidentally stumbled on her on the corridor... And when I said that I was returning to the classroom... And that my vision was bad... She offered me her hand so that I wouldn't get lost as she took me here..."

Everyone stayed silent after receiving Takeru's confession of the matter at hand, and then...

"Whew! Thank god, that means I still have a chance with her"

"Man, you almost scared us there. We almost thought you two were dating"

"Alright, everyone! False alarm, there's nothing going between those two"

Everyone breathed with relief as they finally found out that Yuriko was still single, meaning that everyone still had an improbable chance of going out with her

And the rumors that were quickly circulating, were quickly swapped by rumors that there wasn't anything between the two and that it was simply another case of Yuriko being nice, as she always is

And Takeru who saw all of his classmates going back to doing their own stuff turned back on facing the blackboard, and deeply breathed in...

"Haaaaaa..." <I really can't handle that amount of people around me>

And when he breathed out releasing all of this tension, as he was extremely uncomfortable being surrounded by that many people

"*Humming*"

Yuriko was humming as she made her way to her classroom, she hadn't noticed the rumors that were spread some time ago, so when she arrived at her classroom and opened the door, she would be completely unaware of whatever happened...

And then nothing happened, as the new rumors had already reached the class, so nobody made a fuss when she came inside the classroom, nobody except for... You guessed it, Daichi

"Y-Y-Yuriko-san..."

"Hm? What is it? !? Daichi-san!? Are you okay!?"

And then he fell face flat down on the floor as he passed out, as he had taken too much mental damage from the earlier rumors alongside his sleep deprivation. And that caused the classroom to get into an uproar

*Clap* "Alright, everyone. Calm down, I'll take Daichi-san to the infirmary, so give me space"

Following Yuriko's words, everyone gave her space, seeing that Yuriko get crouched down, and gently picked Daichi up and put him on her shoulder

"I'm leaving"

And with that she took Daichi to the infirmary, everyone in the classroom stayed silent as she did that until she was out of sight

"... *A single tear leaving the eye* *Hic* Not only does she helps people who get, but she also helps those that are sick as well..."

"... She's truly perfect in every aspect *Violently sweating from the eyes*"

"She truly is a noble prince"

Everyone in her classroom got emotional at seeing firsthand, her helping someone in need, and that only made everyone's opinion of her grow even more, and even more rumors started to spread

Some hours later

The school bell ranged signaling the start of lunch break, Yuriko took out her lunchbox from her bag and made her way to the rooftop, but on her way there she was stopped by a certain someone

"Heyo! Yuriko-sama"

"! Good grief, I already said for you to not call me like that, Aya-san"

Yuriko said so as she turned to face the person that called her, Fukui Aya, the leader of the girl's basketball team

"Sorry, sorry, it's just force of habit"

"Yeah, yeah, so let me guess why you called me. You want me to help your team in a basketball game, presumably against the boys, right?"

"Right on the spot"

Yuriko then thought for a moment

"Sure, I can help you with that"

"Thanks, I'll make sure to pay you back for the help"

"It's fine, now if you excuse me, I'm going to have my lunch"

"Okay, see you after school"

And Yuriko went back on her way to the rooftop, when she arrived there, she saw Takeru seated on the staircase leading to the rooftop, she noticed his round glasses, which she found it that was a perfect match for his appearance, and then their eyes met, which allowed her to see his heterochromia

"Ah! Hello, Nanami-senpai"

"Hello, Tanaka-san. Shall we go to the rooftop again?"

"Sure"

"Fufu"

With that small exchange, the two went up the last row of stairs, and then Yuriko unlocked and opened the door to the rooftop, once there they sat down in the same place as yesterday, and ate their lunches

"*Sigh* Today sure was something else"

"Hm? Was that because of me?"

"Ah, no it wasn't. It's just that the vice-president Daichi-san arrived relatively late for the student council members' standards, and then later he collapsed on the classroom floor"

"I see... Was this the first that happened?"

"Yes, it was"

"I see... Hmmm... ... ..."

Takeru started thinking about the answer, using the knowledge that he had of living in the same house as his older brother

"I got it! He was probably j***ing off until late in the night"

"Also, I didn't expect you to have heterochromia as well, but for some reason, I found that it complements your appearance as well"

Takeru didn't say anything back, and simply looked down to hide his embarrassed face as he let Yuriko pet his head

"Fuuu... I guess we should start going back to our classrooms now"

"Yeah..."

They both got up from the bench and went to the door, and as Yuriko opened she remembered something

"I forgot to ask this, but do you plan on joining any club, Tanaka-san?"

"No, I don't"

Since this time Yuriko didn't make him too embarrassed, Takeru was able to recover and go back to normal pretty quickly

"I see, then I advise you to watch your back after school because today is the day that most clubs try to drag freshmen to the clubs"

"You mean recruit?"

"No, they literally will grab you from behind and then drag you to their clubrooms"

Takeru at hearing that felt a chill run down his back

"I... Will try to watch my back"

"Good luck"

And they both went in opposite directions, but this time Yuriko was heading somewhere else

Yuriko opened the door of the infirmary, and then closed it after she entered the room

"Excuse me"

"Ah! Yuriko-chan did you come to check on the vice president"

"Yes, sensei"

"Okay, he already woke up, so you can go talk to him"

"Thank you"

Yuriko respectfully bowed down to the teacher responsible for the infirmary, and then she walked towards the bed Daichi was, there she opened the curtains

"!? Y-Yuriko-san!"

"Hello, Daichi-san. How are you feeling?"

Yuriko gave him a welcoming smile as she said that

"A-aahh... I-I'm fine, that was because of my lack of sleep"

Daichi then started drinking some water as a way to hide his nervousness

"I see... Well, then all I can say is for you... To relieve your sexual desires in moderation next time you do it"

"Pfft!" <-The teacher

"!?!?!?!?!? *almost chokes from the water* *cough cough cough* W-w-w-what do you mean by that!?!?"

"Hm? Someone I know said that you lacked sleep because you did that... And since I have an older brother, so I can kinda understand why you would do that..."

Yuriko made a troubled face as she tried to find the right words

"So I won't say for you to stop doing it anymore... But... Please make sure to not overdo it to the point it will affect your daily life, just like how it happened today..."

Daichi wasn't showing any response anymore, as his soul was almost leaving his body from his mouth

"So for today, I'll excuse you from your duties as vice-president, since you probably overdid your relieving last night because of your duties... So for today make sure to rest well... And if you still need to relieve your sexual desires today, make sure that it won't interfere with your sleep, okay?"

"... Sure..." *monotone and robotic tone*

Daichi then laid on the bed, covered himself with the blanket, and turned away from Yuriko, to hide his face as it looked like as if his soul was sucked out of it

"Sensei, if you excuse me, I'll be returning to my classroom"

"S-su... Pfffft!... Sure... Pukukukuh"

And Yuriko left the infirmary, as the teacher tried to hold his laughter

"Reeee... You sure embarrassed yourself with that... ... ... *Unable to breathe due to the laughter*"

Outside

<Hopefully with that, Daichi-san won't commit the same mistake as today>

Rarely, on some occasions, Yuriko would fail to understand or notice what some things she said or did, caused a lot of emotional damage to others, and this time, it was one of those occasions

It was after school, and Takeru had just finished putting his materials in his bag, he grabbed his bag and left the classroom

<Nanami-senpai said for me to watch my back and not to be dragged away by some club... Yeah, let's make sure to not let that happen... ... ... Huh? Why am I going in the opposite direction?> "... Huuuuuuhh!?"

Takeru was caught from behind and was now being dragged away by two members of the male basketball team members. And he wasn't the only one who suffered a similar fate
