Chapter 30

(A/N Notes: This chapter was one of those moments I pretty much lost all seriousness as I wrote)

It was a morning of a Monday, and there was still about an hour before the lessons of the day started, so as usual Yuriko was using that time to deal with some paperwork, alongside the rest of the student council. And the other three members inside the stucco room could clearly see that Yuriko was extremely happy as she appeared to have a very flowery atmosphere around her

<Nee, Takane. Do you think something happened between her and Tanaka-san?>

<Most likely, it appears that our plan to have them get closer worked somehow>

<How nice… I want something like that for me as well>

<Huh? But… Didn't you like… received three confessions last week, Chiyoko?>

Takane and Masami both stayed quiet at Chiyoko's kinky and simply looked away, as for Takeru, he was away to get documents from some of the clubs. Takane then decided to ignore Chiyoko's kinky and went to talk to Yuriko

"Yuriko-sama, about this document here"

"Hm? Let me take a look"

Takane then handed Yuriko the document she was handling

"… Yup, it looks okay. Keep up the good work"

"Thanks, by the way, did something happen between you and Tanaka-san?"

"Between me and Takeru?… Fufu, I'll leave it to you to decide"

Yuriko made a charming and playful smile as she said that, which was enough to make Takane's heartbeat rise as her cheeks turned slightly red because Yuriko's charm was just too strong

"I-I see, then I'll go back on dealing with this document"

Then just as Takane had gone back to her desk to finish dealing with the document, the door was opened and Takeru entered the room as he carried a bunch of papers with him, then he went to Yuriko's desk and placed the papers there

"Here are all the documents you requested, Yuriko"

"Thank you, Takeru"

"…"

Takeru kept standing in front of Yuriko's desk as he appeared to be somewhat fidgety

"What is it, Takeru? Do you perhaps want a reward from me?"

"! I-It's not like that"

"Fufu. I see I see. Well, you can go to your classroom now, there isn't much to be done right now, and your classroom is the farthest one from here"

"… Fine"

Takeru sounded somewhat dejected when he responded to Yuriko's words, but he still bowed to Yuriko and then left the stucco room

The three saw that and decided to simply stay quiet, but they had a lot of things they wanted to ask Yuriko

"If you all are thinking about what is that reward I said to Takeru, all I can say is that it's a secret between only me and Takeru"

Yuriko once again showed a very charming and playful smile as she put one of her index fingers on her lips. Seeing that made Takane, Masami, and Chiyoko all blush at the same time, as they understood what Yuriko was covertly meaning with those words

Takeru had already returned to his classroom, and right now he was making an angry pouty face

"… *Mutter* Yuriko-baka…"

Takeru wouldn't admit it, but he did want a reward from Yuriko

Some time later

It was the last lesson before lunchtime, and for Takeru's classroom, it was home economics. The students were divided into ten groups of three, the groups were divided between the students, and because of that the groups were practically divided between boy groups and girl groups, but there was one problem… Takeru's classroom had a ratio of 1:2 between boys and girls, meaning that one of the boys would end up paired with two girls in the end

"Oi… Why the hell only he gets to get paired up with girls!?"

"Yeah! We demand equal shares!"

"I don't accept getting paired up with guys only!"

All of the boys began protesting the fact that only one boy ended up in a group with girls… … … And that boy was Takeru of course, who was making an annoyed face as he held a baking tray while he looked at the boys making stupid demands

Then as the boys protested one of the girls, Chika, stepped forward with her arms crossed, she was just slightly taller than average but she was still able to show an imposing figure, then she opened her mouth and said…

"Which of you know how to actually cook something?"

"…" (x9)

Hearing that single question, made all the boys, aside from Takeru, turn silent and freeze on the spot

"The last time we paired with one of you guys, that wasn't Tanaka-san, you all did nothing and just ate what we had cooked!"

The other girls all agreed with what Chika had said, while Takeru just looked at them with a blank face

"Oh yeah? Then we're going to show you who are the real cooks here!"

"Yeah!" (x8)

One of the boys, Ryota, turned what the girl told them into a challenge

"Very well, we're going to crush you all"

And Chika accepted Ryota's challenge, then they turned and returned to their groups

"Alright, boys! Let's show those girls what we're capable of!"

"Yeah!" (x8)

"Alright, class. Did you all finish making your bets?"

The teacher who was waiting for the students to finish their motivational campaigns as he appeared to have a lit cigarette in his mouth, said that before he continued

"Anyways, what we'll be cooking recipe will be cookies"

"Sensei, you can't smoke in here"

"This isn't a cigarette, it's a lollipop"

"Smoke doesn't come out from a lollipop"

"That's because I'm licking it so fast"

And the teacher showed that his cigarette was in fact, a lollipop

"Wha!?"

Around 30 minutes later

The boys were silent as they looked at what they had cooked, one group had made charcoal-flavored cookies, another group had made steel-hard cookies, and Ryota's group had made cookies so bad that they had to be censored for the sake of the readers' discretion

"…"

The teacher looked at their cookies and came to one conclusion

"I ain't eating any of these"

"Hey! It can't possibly be that bad!? Never judge a book by its cover they say!"

Ryota not admitting defeating defeat picked one of the censored cookies and put it inside his mouth

Moments later

"Bleeeeeeeeeeergh"

Ryota was puking all of his stomach contents out of the window, and for the readers' discretion, it was censored as a sparkling rainbow. The teacher had sent one of his students to call the school nurse, and as he waited for it to arrive, he went to check the girl groups, and they all had done some really gourmet cookies, and then he finally went to Takeru's group

"So what did you three make?"

"We made red velvet cookies, using the finest ingredients available to us in the school"

One of the girls presented what they had, saying it as if she was in some sort of culinary competition program, and then the teacher picked one of the cookies and took a bite out of it

"This some real cookie right here"

"Thank you, sensei"

*Plim*

And then they all heard the sound of the oven finishing cooking something

"Oh, it's done"

And Takeru went to check the oven

"What did you bake?"

"I baked a pie!"

"Oh boy! What flavor?"

"Pie flavor" *Serious tone*

The pie was shared with everyone, aside from the boys, Takeru's group received the maximum score, alongside the other groups with girls

Ryota was taken to a hospital due to food poisoning
