Ch. 160

160

 In the Strange Dream she was pregnant and had her Mates around her like she always had and when she got a craving, they all slowly began to disappear to get what she wanted. Scarlet realized that it had been a long time and yet they didn't come back. She started to get a bad feeling that something happened to her Family and, decided that she needed to get up and try to find them. That was when the Strange Dream suddenly changed to become a Terrifying Nightmare.

 As she called out for every One of her Males, she never got a reply. Beginning to panic she began to look for them and that was when it hit. The pain in her stomach became almost too much for her to handle.

 She cried out in pain, "Aaaaahhh!!"

The intense pain felt like it was going to tear her apart and she cried out in pain and gripped her stomach. When she looked down, she seen that there was blood down there and she prayed that she was not having a miscarriage.

Terrified Scarlet began to shout for someone anyone to help and save her Babies.

That was when she heard it. The voice of her Old Master telling her that she was too Weak right now, and that she needed to be Stronger for what was to come. He needed her for something, and she needed to prepare for that.

 Completely unable to concentrate on what else he was trying to tell her, she cried out in pain again and again.

Then suddenly it was all over.

The pain had stopped completely leaving Scarlet extremely confused. As she looked down, all she seen was blood and her Babies still inside of their velvety soft shells but…

They weren't moving.

It was not like Emma's Young had been, wiggling around in their own velvety soft shells. The Young that Scarlet had helped to deliver just that Morning.

 Dropping to the floor she cried out for her Mates again and again, but they never came.

 Scarlet hadn't felt this empty and alone since she found her entire Family massacred after she came back from training in the Mountains. She ended up coming back earlier than expected and remembered everything as the sight appeared right before her eyes.

The tears that began to run down her cheeks had become tears of blood. Scarlet couldn't pull herself out of this nightmare and make it back to her family.

 Just as Scarlet began to feel herself sink deeper and deeper into despair and darkness; she suddenly heard a voice. 

 It was a muffled voice that she couldn't understand but at the same time it made her feel safe. Slowly she began to pull herself out of the darkness and climb up to follow the voice. The closer that she got to the voice the more comfort she had felt.

 After what seemed like a long time of climbing and searching, she Finally found a small light. The muffled voice that she was hearing was suddenly becoming clearer. It was then that she noticed that there was more than One voice, but still couldn't understand what they were saying to her.

 As Scarlet struggled to get closer to the voices, she felt something pulling on her.

It was pulling her back into the darkness that she had so desperately wanted to escape. When she looked down, she seen her Dead Young had somehow emerged from their shells and were trying to pull her back into the darkness.

They were begging her not to leave them behind. Scarlet couldn't take it and she continued to move to the light as fast as she could.

 Fighting to free herself from their grasp, she lost her grip and was immediately pulled back into the darkness.

 Suddenly a golden glow appeared beside her and wrapped her in Light and Warmth. As the darkness was chased away by this Holy Light and she was suddenly able to hear the voices clearly. Her eyes shot open, and she seen that Doctor Sebastian was right in her face and turned to see the rest of her Family was all around her as well.

Looking around she found that Travis had changed from his Black Tiger Form to his Human One and was holding her tightly.

She struggled to say, "Kitty. To tight."

It was then that he eased his hold on her but still held her tightly. Alex said "What happened? You were sleeping peacefully, then you suddenly began to scream and thrash about."

Nick spoke up and said, "We couldn't wake you either. You were becoming so pail. I thought that we were going you lose you."

 Scarlet, who had just woken up from the most terrifying Nightmare, burst into tears and placed her hands on her stomach saying in a panicked voice "The Babies! How are the babies? Are they okay? I didn't lose them, did I?"

 They were quick to reassure and comfort her until she calmed down. None of them could understand why she kept wiping her tears away and looking at her hands.

 This was not any Normal Nightmare. It was like something was keeping her trapped there, because none of them were able to wake her.

 Travis had to use a lot of Energy, and even draw Power from Alex through Scarlet just to get her to calm down. They needed to know what kept her trapped there and how to keep it from happening again.

 They needed to talk to Scarlet about this but not now. Now when she was so distraught. Not even Alex or Nick could keep calm and lost control of their Emotions while she was trapped and began crying out in terror just like she was.
