"*yawn*" Jayce groggily wake up as he rubs his eyes. He finds himself in the darkness once more.

'DING! Congratulations Player, You successfully beat the trial of consciousness.' The cold, mechanical voice of Genesis/ system, resounds within his head.

Then the realization hit him.

"WAIT, WHAT! HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN ASLEEP FOR!?" Jayce yells out hysterically within the darkness. Trying to remember what transpired with his hazy brain. He recalled that he had a hectic fight with the trial's challenge. He just kept on fighting until that last moment, then...

He passed out directly after finally figuring out a way to beat the fake version of himself, his mental and spiritual were exhausted to the brimmed! Not to be narcissistic, but he doesn't think any other people would have the same determination as he did to fight non-stop for 30+ days! It's a miracle that he's not in a vegetative state right now.

But that is not important, he has been gone for so long, what happened to his family and friends...? What happened to mom and Caitlyn?

'DING! At ease, Player. The passage of time has been tampered with, only four seconds have passed thus far.'

"Phew, thank God..." Jayce breathes a sigh of relief, his anxiety and anxiousness were instantly doused. He wouldn't know what to do or how to face his family if he went unnoticed for so long.

Jayce gasped at the information; he took a deep cold breath to calm himself down! This ability is just too overpowered! After the atrocious fight that he had, the reward is totally worth it! I mean look at this...

"Regardless of levels? And I can control the range????" This means that even if the enemy is double, triple, quadruple his levels, their abilities would be deactivated if within range! How op is that? 5 seconds might not be a lot for normal people, but for battles, regardless of low or high-grade battles, any second's count, and would affect the flow of victory or defeat! On the flip side, if he couldn't win against the enemy, five seconds would be enough for him to flee. How is this not good!?

'But 1000 ap though...' Jayce thought...he only has 5000 something AP, but 1 use would already shave off 1/5 of his reserve, not to mention if he wants to increase the range, he will have to pay extra!

Nonetheless, overall, an amazing ability to have. This will be his trump card for the unexpected situations he might encounter in the future, this will help him to turn the table if play correctly.

*twink* Out of nowhere, a translucent light was lit up within the darkness, at the place Jayce previously stood. Revealing an ethereal figure, her face couldn't be seen as it was blinded out by the light emitted around her, but one look at her body would leave the onlookers suffocating to breathe.

"I hope you are having fun so far.... master....hehe" A charming voice that could even melt the coldest ice rang within the void.

"I'll see you soon..." As if on cue, the figure disappeared, the light slowly dimmed, darkness slowly descends, quiet ensure the place once more.

PiltOver, Shurima continent.

*KABOOM* Within the dark night, waves of black clouds gather as they flash upon the kingdom with black and white flashes of lightning.

Among the cloud, a gigantic silhouette with a giant crown sitting atop of its head, looms over, not just PiltOVer, but all over the world! its noble figure looks down upon the people of Runeterra like a king.

Many people were forced to kneel upon contact with the silhouette's majestic and terrifying aura that bored down the world. Some stronger individuals with capabilities can manage to stand, but that is it, they couldn't move, talk, even breathing is a hectic task!

But it wasn't for long before the aura lessens, until it vanished completely! As fast and suddenly it came, it disappeared just as quickly! The silhouette slowly fades away, the clouds separating as they dissipate among the dark sky. The black and white lightning disappeared to the void it came.

The strange and terrifying phenomenon didn't last long, it was only 5 seconds. Nonetheless, it was the longest 5 seconds any being has ever experienced!

And you could imagine the after-result would be...

Just like what had transpired in Zaun, all around the world descended into chaos and uproar!

PiltOver is among those places...

It went from confusion, to fear, to denials, and finally.... despair...

"IT WAS GOD! THE GOD IS ANGERED! THE WORLD IS DOOM!"

"PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I'M AN INNOCENT MAN, I HAVE AN OLD MOTHER AND YOUNG DAUGHTER, PLEASE!"

"OL' MIGHTY GOD, I'M YOUR DEVOTED BELIEVER! PLEASE GRANT THIS LOWLY ONE GRACE!"

These familiar scenes happen across the world, as they slowly reel themselves from the shock 5 seconds prior.

Of course, there is light within darkness, many developed establishments have orders and government to control the masses.

"BE QUIEEEEEEEEEEET!" A loud shout reverberated through the whole capital as many people had to cup their ears to brace the impact.

"ORDER! THOSE WHO ARE DISOBEYING THE LAW WILL BE MERCILESSLY KILLED!" Camille shouts hysterically, along with her legion, she marches around the city and apprehends many of the offenders who thought that the world was going to end and foolishly decided to unleash many of their hidden desires.

As Camille and her legion busy themselves, reining in the sheep like shepherds, someone else is also busy analyzing the situation with his crazy headache!

"OW! It hurt man..." Jayce muttered, using the right hand one hand to rub the side of his temple, his other hand is holding the still asleep little girl! Jayce wasn't aware as he was busying fighting with himself in the trial, but within the 5 seconds that had transpired, the girl wasn't affected by his "subconscious" phenomenon! She just slept through the event like a pig in hibernation!

"So, not much time has passed... thank God!" Feeling the little weight, he's holding; Jayce could finally relax. He doesn't know the fact that he just caused the Armageddon event to the world!

But not before long, his aura flares up once more! Because through the vision of the necklace, he sees Caitlyn with a pale face, on the verge of vomiting, while a bunch of scum rushed to her with menacing gazes. His anger shot through the roof! But not to "That" point. Jayce doesn't realize it, but his emotions are slowly changing, for better or worse...

He was about to activate the teleportation ability, no matter how rare the item is, if something happened to Caitlyn because of him, then he would regret it for life!

But he didn't... because

He saw a woman with brown, curly hair and an eyepatch appear in the midst, fired her guns at the scumbags, successfully reaped their lowly lives.

"Acquaintance?" Jayce muttered; this world, especially in Zaun, people wouldn't help others for no apparent reasons, they are either friends or she has an ulterior motive. Jayce just continued to observe her, if anything happens, he could just instantly teleport. Plus, this is a good opportunity to test Caitlyn to face the outside world. If she wants to follow him in the future, he needs Caitlyn to be expunged out of her comfort bubble.

*sigh* After several attempts, he just gives up with a sigh, turning his head to the side, he said.

"Hey kid, I'm not your "Papa", understand...?" He scrunches his face as he spoke out...

But he soon regrets that decision.

"You...You are...not my...Papa...? *sobs*" the girl said with tears brimming her bright blue eyes, Jayce found that the surroundings starting to change, the once colourful world, darkened, turning into a black and white world. The atmosphere went solemn.

Then a tingling sensation kicked in his nerve, his sixth sense detecting dangers!

'Oh shit!' following his instinct, he hurriedly cups his ears.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" A high-pitched cry came directly from the girl.

*BOOM*

*CRACK*

Like a sudden gravity shift, the surrounding radius started to get heavy as Jayce finds his body sinking to the ground, making spider-web crack under his feet, if not for his strong body, maybe he would already be flattened! Many windows at the ruined buildings beside him shattered into smithereens.

"Ahhh!" Although it doesn't hurt physically, his soul feels like it just got pierced by several needles, making it extremely painful!!

*Puah* He spat out a substantial amount of blood.

'Yin and Yang Lightning!' He activates the ability that he had gotten as a reward from earlier.

The grey world regained its colour, the gravitational shift turned normal, and the piercing pain disappeared.

Reaching into his inner world, he takes out an item that resembles a teddy bear. Hurriedly turned his head around to console the crying demon!

"Hey, hey, hey! Look what I got! Stop crying, okay...? Please!" Jayce feels helpless, why do girls around him like to cry so much??? Caitlyn, powder, now this...

"*sniff*" And it seems to work! The little demon stops her tantrum as she reaches out to the bear with sparkling desire!
