Ximena's POV

Inside one of the rooms within the mansion, on a queen-size bed,

*Moan* Ximena let out a comforting moan as she does her morning stretch.

"I'll never get enough of this! The soft bed, warm atmosphere, clean and fresh air, this place is just too amazing!" Ximena exclaimed,

Ever since moving here, there has never been a night where she didn't sleep well. The array within the mansion attracted a high density of Arcane Energies; for cultivators, like Caitlyn, the place is a paradise for her, staying here is 10x times more effective than the outside world. For normal people, they would only find the air more refreshing, feel stronger and, would be exempt from illnesses.

"Hehe, that girl Caitlyn, such a sweet child." Ximena chuckles. Due to the upcoming date, the girl was like an anxious rabbit, she had to accompany the little one and mentor her.

Luckily, her son is so smart and handsome, otherwise how else would she be able to convince Caitlyn to be her daughter-in-law?

She then proceeded to get out of bed and get dressed; heading downstairs to make breakfast.

Since the mansion is two-story, with the second floor reserved for sleeping quarters, she has to head down to get to the kitchen.

As she walks out of her room, across the hall, she sees the door of her son's room is open.

'He's up early...' Usually, Jayce would wake up later than she would, and since this is his day off, she expected him to sleep in. Well, that is the plan her son had in mind, but alas...

'Well, well, well, look what we have here...' When she got to Jayce's room, she saw some heated actions between the two love birds inside; Jayce pinning down the blushing Caitlyn as he claimed her lips.

Although this is what she wanted, it's still too early to let them continue further, so with that...

"AHEM!"

"AHEM!" When Jayce heard the clear cough coming from the door, he froze, like a cold bucket full of water poured over him.

Breaking the kiss, he looks over to see an amused and somewhat angry mom, crossing her arms as she stared at them.

Caitlyn, who was enjoying the kiss, didn't seem to be satisfied with Jayce when he broke off, but when she looked over, she also froze...

"Well, carry on, forgive me for...*smirk* interrupting..." Ximena slowly back away, not before giving them a big smirk.

The two couple just stood there in a stupor, then Caitlyn, with a blushing face, threw a pillow at him, angrily pointing her finger at Jayce.

"Why did you kiss me, YOU JERK!"

Jayce got, even more, stupefy, weren't you the one who went into my room in the first place!!?

"It's not like you didn't complain, you went in a man's room, or is it that you expected this the first place?" Jayce shrugs, trying to tease her to ease the mood, otherwise won't the girl die from embarrassment?

"You-… You, GO DROP DEAD, IDIOT!" She threw another pillow at him; with a flushed face, she ran out of his room.

'AHHH! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO FACE ANYONE NOW?' She really wanted to cry, why didn't she push him away?

'NO!? WHY DID THE JERK KISS HER IN THE FIRST PLACE? Yes, It's his fault!' She was just trying to wake him up! it's not her fault that his hormones started to kick in!

Jayce just rubs his head, watching the little rabbit hopping away in a hurry.

'Oh well,' Since his mother isn't angry, he won't care about it either. This isn't like earth where there are strict laws, he guessed that this world is more relaxed of their rule and regulations about couples.

He was afraid that his mom would be pissed when he saw her standing at the door but guess he doesn't have to worry much.

2 hours later,

"Ready?" Jayce said to the pouting girl who was crossing her arms in a huff, ignoring him. She is still mad about the earlier incident,

They were standing before the portal that led back to PiltOver.

'No matter how many times I see it, I can't figure out the mystery behind it.' Jayce muttered, he remembered the first time he crossed the portal, Poppy said that he couldn't harness his Arcane Prowess and that they would help him train them, but the plan had changed when they announced his opponent. He didn't mind as he needs experience in battles.

"Whatever" Caitlyn said, she's also marveling at the gate, unlike Jayce, her teacher had taught her more about Arcane. If Jayce could see her eyes right now, he would see that there are translucent energies in her eyes, acting as goggles, she could see the mystery behind the portal. The two couple walks forth, as they found themselves in a different environment; the previously desert landscape is replaced by tall buildings, they were back in PiltOver!

"COME! LET'S GO!" Caitlyn pulled the hand of the stupor Jayce.

"Where are we going?"

"hehe, to my house of course!" Caitlyn giggles, she had gone home a couple of times in the past month, her parents already know about her affairs, they have no qualms about it. As matter of fact, they are excited at the prospect of their daughter being an Arcanist! Also, her supposedly "boyfriend" Jayce, they are all over the moon!

At the Kiramman mansion,

"Oh goddess, honey is my dress, okay? What about my hair? What if the boy doesn't like us? What do I do?" A panic voice comes from Caitlyn's mother, Cassandra. They were told that their daughter was coming back home today, WITH HER BOYFRIEND! How could she not be anxious?

"Calm down, you look lovely. Plus, I feel like the boy doesn't care much about noble etiquettes, just act like yourself..." Tobias said although he said that to calm down his wife, his hands are already drenched with sweat.

"But remember, we must present ourselves well, we can't embarrass our daughter after all," Tobias added. He will never forget about the debt that they owed Jayce for saving their lives. It's a mystery how fate works.

*DING DONG* A chime rang from the door.

"Here they come! One last time, how do I look!" Hearing the bell, Cassandra's anxiousness shot through the roof!

Tobias just smiled, walked toward her, and gave her a deep kiss.

"It's fine, just be yourself, if nothing happens, Jayce will be our in-law in the future, you'll be making him feel uncomfortable."

"Hmm," Cassandra nods, taking a deep breath to calm down her nerves. Funny how this anxious-looking woman used to be one of the most successful business people in the industry.

"Now, let's welcome them." Tobias held her hand as they walked toward the door.

"MOM! DAD!" Once the door opened, a flying Caitlyn propelled herself to the arm of her dad.

"Haha! My daughter, how are you?" Tobias bent down and picked up his sweet daughter, although he had seen her a few times during the past month, he's a parent after all, how can he not be sad when they're separated?

"hehe, I'm great!" Caitlyn giggles kiss her dad on the cheek, turns toward her mom, also gives her a smooch.

With his hands in his pockets, Jayce reminisces as he watches the scene; his past life was also this joyous, with both of his parents having a normal teenage life.

Seeing the boy awkwardly standing there, Tobias smiled, putting down his daughter as he reaches out his hand; unlike the noble etiquette, he is more used to the common handshaking.

"How are you doing Jayce, it's been a while since we last meet."

Jayce smiled and shook his hand,

"Haha, likewise, you've gotten younger the last time I saw you, Mr. Kiramman," Jayce jokes,

"HAHAHA, come, come, let us go inside, it's cold standing out there,"
