Chapter 1Prologue

It was a Crimson Night, a night that will forever be remembered throughout history. For this was the day that a man single handedly killed all the Supreme Saints of the country.

Through the night, blood rained down, creating such an eerie atmosphere, while the site was picturesque. The moon that night was round and bright whilst the blood turned the sky crimson.

Many were frightened by the scene, but some were intrigued by what they had witnessed.

High above, a lone man stood at the center of the bloody war. He was covered in the blood of his enemies. One can tell that he almost looked as if the God of War himself, for he has not lost a single battle whilst his blade coated in the blood of his slain enemies.

He looked satisfied for what he'd accomplished, as if all the burdens in the world he's been carrying have been lifted. Feeling relieved from all the pain and suffering... He slightly raised his lips about to smile.

"Patriarch, Elders, dear Brothers and Sisters... Finally, I've avenged all of you. I've punished those who killed you. Now, you can all rest in peace." He spoke with a devilish tone in his voice. Though his tone may be frightening, one can tell his words were filled with emotions.

He took a last glance at everything and smiled as he disappeared through the dark.

This is the story of Zhu Long, the last remaining member of the Zhu Clan. In his quest to find those involved in the massacre of his clan and wipe them out.

(MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST 15 CHAPTERS) This is a novel that i can see blowing up in the future because it has the typical tropes of the top novels especially when it comes to overpowered mcs. This novel is mainly a mindless journey where you can see the mc destroy everybody in his path and outsmart everyone he meets and i honestly like it, i think its fun to read. The novel also has some attempts at comedy which are okay i guess. The grammar is really good expect for a few spelling mistakes here and there which can easily be overlooked. The story isnt top notch mainly because we dont know the mcs limit, we have no clue what his true power is, especially since he has the ultimate plot armor which is the spirit inside of him. I think the main way the author can improve the novel is by letting us see the mcs limit. When it comes to the world development i think this is a factor that is going in the right direction. I like the world that the author has set up so far and i am excited to see how it will grow from now since we are only at chapter 35 at the time of writing this review. When it comes to character development i think this is a very strange factor of the novel. The mc is sometime a cold killer without mercy and sometimes an extremly trusting individual that reveals alot of stuff easily. I think him being cold makes sense to a certain point considering how he was bullied when he was younger, still think its a bit strange tho. But im extremly interested to see how he will react when he finds out about his sect, i think that is when we'll see huge character development. When it comes to characters in general i think that this is a part of the novel that is done very well, each character has their own personality and none of them feel plain although some can reveal a bit too much to complete strangers at times which feels unrealistic and almost like its just a lazy way of giving the mc info without him really earning it. The stability of updating has improved recently, even though the author doesnt upload or is late sometimes mainly because of him being sick here and there which i think is a justified reason for not uploading. All in all i give this novel a 4.2/5 because even tho its a good novel it still cant compare to the top novels of this site like the birth of the demonic sword which has much better character development and story overall, library of heavens path which has much superior comedy and world building and supreme magus which has better character development and a more solid start. But then again all of these novels have had 250+ chapters to develop their story. Im still gonna follow this novel since i do think it has alot of potential and im interested to see how the story will progress. (I will be updating this review in the future if there are any drastic changes in the story or writing quality.)

Firstly to begin with the title, it states the thing clearly which is inside, of course that is cultivation. But it exceeded my expectations as the MC isn't a destitute dude who is in dire need to cultivate to gain a reputation as it mostly happens in such books. Secondly what makes it more different is the crafting of MC Zhu Long, who isn't a weakling since the very beginning which is the common cliche of such plotlines, instead he is living well with his other abilities. Quoting the plotline furthermore, the author did a good job while starting with the tinge of mysterious mark, and the certainties are kept upto the chapters, that I didn't even bother to read the chapter titles, and couldn't keep my eyes off the prose. As to conclude it ISN'T A CLICHE CULTIVATION thing, I've read many books in this genre but there was only till now that I found completely UNIQUE in true sense regarding the list of magical fantasy. This will remain in my library from now as it is different for sure in the huge pile of cultivation. Lastly criticising about the narration style, I'd like to make a few things before you step over the author with your ire. It happens when you are binge writing that authors couldn't point out their own blunders, I admit that there are a few errors regarding unnecessary switching of the tenses and punctuation but the plotline will keep you hooked badly that readers can close their eyes to such flaws, they won't cause any hindrance to the flow of reading. I'd like to sum up my review by stating the quality, author has a define style when it comes upto the enhancing and effectiveness of the dialogues, the world is crafted out very beautifully that you can get the whole image of the cliff and the surrounding bushes, along with the other residents. There are heaps of books under cultivation theme but what makes this one different is solely based on the presentation of the MC, his soliloquies, thoughts, relationships, urges and wishes along with the other people who are near him. Most of the authors in this genre fail to touch the depth of the MC, and a reader couldn't get closer in understanding the MC, and questions bearing WHY remains unsettling which drags down the story and results in the failure. As others stated that this book is not comparable to other top ones, I'd honestly say that author will get it to the top soon, as he will improve gradually.
