Eric was in so much pain. But as soon as he exited the school, his pain subsided leaving behind a numb feeling.
While he was in a daze, his brother dragged him to the hospital and made the doctors do an extensive check again.
Only when the doctors gave him, the okay did Haolei let out a breath of relief.
On the way back Eric silently gazed out the window. In the silence, his mind wandered to what had happened today.
'what am I going to do if the men in black really came for my life.'
His worried eyes peered at his brother. Poor Haolei's had deep black circles around his eyes.
Eric's heart clenched. 'My brother might be in danger too….'
'Should I leave… should I run away from everything...'
Eric closed his eyes tightly.
