62. Blood Sacrificial Puppet Seal

The shinobis gulp their saliva in fear as an immense feeling of fear rises in their heart.

Even Metal B, who is in his four-tail beast form, momentarily stops and stares at Kisuke. However, soon he charges toward him with resolve.

The scarlet pillar of light shrinks to reveal Kisuke and the demon. Kisuke is sitting cross-legged on the ground. The seal on his chest pulsates with a scarlet hue. With every pulse, Kisuke's countenance turns pale. The giant demon beside him has shrunk to a height of around three meters. It has recovered its previous wounds, and its broken arm has regenerated.

The demon open's its eyes and a red-light gleam in its eyes. A semblance of intelligence flickers past its eyes, and it glances in the direction of the shinobis of the four great nations, sending a chill down their spine.

The demon ignores them and turns its attention toward the charging Metal B.

It unsheathes the demonic blade from its back and disappears from its place in a flash.

Whoosh…

The demon appears in front of Metal B and kicks him in the gut.

Bang…

The impact from the kick sends him flying across the vast expanse of forest.

ROOAR…

A bestial roar echoes in the forest as Metal B fires a tailed beast bomb toward the demon.

RROOOOAARR…

The demon releases an ear-piercing roar of its own and swipes its claws to swat away the tailed beast bomb.

BOOM…

The tailed beast bomb slams into another hill and detonates into a spherical explosion blowing away from the top of the hill.

Two giant chakra arms leap out of the smoke and smash on top of the demon.

The demon is sent flying away by the sudden attack.

The body of Metal B in his second-tailed beast transformation undergoes another change. A skeletal structure of bones forms around it and another tail sprouts from its back, forming a total of five tails.

RROOAARR…

Metal B releases another roar and gets down on all his four limbs. The bones around his body restructure into a horn. He stabs his tail into the ground and draws his body back in an arch to create tension in his body.

Whoosh…

He uses the tension from his tail as a springboard to catapult himself toward the demon with immense momentum.

"LARRIAAATTT!"

Metal B's cry echoes on the battlefield as his body slams into the demon.

Puchi…

The horn pierces through the demon's armor and stabs through its body. However, the demon pays no heed to it. It gathers its four arms into a giant fist and slams it on top of the five-tailed transformation.

CRACK…

Cracks appear on the hard carapace of the bones as the demon slams another fist into the bone shell. The demon pierces its claws into the cracks and forcefully rips apart the bone carapace.

The tails on Metal B's back morph into giant chakra arms and smash a multitude of punches into the giant's body.

BANG…

Finally, with a loud bang, the demon is sent flying across the horizon and slams into a nearby hill as Metal B breathes heavily for fresh air.

Meanwhile, the attacks of the shinobis from the other nation are also bombarding the Five Rashomon gate and Adamantine Sealing chains barrier around Kisuke's body.

"WAIT!"

The two commander waves their hands and signals their subordinates to hold their attack.

"Something is wrong with his body!" The Iwa commander, who is also a sensor, glances at Kisuke's body.

The giant hole in its stomach is rapidly closing up and the demon's eyes flicker with a sinister glow as it turns its attention toward them.

The Suna commander shrieks as the demon charges toward him. He swiftly turns to the Iwa commander and the vice-commander of Kiri for aid.

"Help me! If not, after he is done with me, you are next!"

Both commanders hesitate for a second before eventually nodding to his request.

"Very well, since we are in this together. We will see this entire thing to the end."

The Iwa commander turns to his subordinates.

"All shinobis just focus on defense."

The Kiri, Kumo, and Suna commander and vice-commander also issued orders to their shinobis to erect a defense wall.

"Earth Style: Great Earth Wall,"

The Iwa shinobis erect multiple earth walls to block the demons' path. The Suna shinobis further reinforce the walls with wind and earth techniques while simultaneously creating a swamp between the walls.

The Kumo and Kiri shinobis also collaborate with each other. Multiple Kiri shinobis use water release techniques to flood the entire area, while the Kumo shinobi electrify the water with lighting release techniques to paralyze and hinder the demon's movements.

The three eyes of the demon glow with a crimson hue, and it releases a shrill bestial roar.

The demon's shriek casts a powerful genjutsu on the battlefield and affects the minds of the shinobis, breaking their coordination, and thus creating a huge gap in their formation.

He tosses a giant boulder toward the crimson fireball. Even the vice-commander of Kumogakure participates in battle.

After making a series of rapid hand signs, he clamps his hands together and directs them forward.

The black lightning in his hand transforms into two black lighting panthers and leaps toward the crimson fireball.

A powerful explosion of unprecedented magnitude erupts at the point of collision.

"RUN!"

The shinobis from the four nations swiftly dash away from the explosion. However, a few of them are still caught in the blast of the explosion.

A giant spherical storm of lightning, fire, wind, and chunks of earth forms at the point of impact. The explosion quickly spirals out from the impact point and engulfs multiple unfortunate shinobis.

Some of the corpses are incinerated to dust or charred beyond recognition, while others are strewn with multiple rock fragments piercing across their body. Only a fortunate few managed to survive the blast with either amputated limbs or heavy injuries.

The painful and miserable groans of the survivor shudder at the heart of the rest of the people; bewaring them of the horrors of the war.

"I don't want to die!"

"Help me, captain!" These miserable screams echo on the battlefield.

The commander and captain clench their fists and hatefully glance in the direction of the demon who is still standing tall in its position.

They have paid an enormous price for this mission and their hatred for the Uzumaki clan has reached an unprecedented level.

However, the icy gaze of the demon snaps them back to reality. With the previous explosion, all the defensive earth walls and formations are broken.

The demon lowers its body and charges toward them. On the other hand, Kisuke's body has withered beyond recognition. His body has emaciated to the point that even his skeleton and eye sockets are visible to outsiders. However, the determination in his eyes has yet to fade away.
