The Initiation

In Derbias, in the Snake army headquarter at night, Henry who was a bawsi soldier who agreed to become a snake soldier was about to be initiated officially. He was stripped of his clothes and was dressed in a loin clothe to cover his private part. He was then taken with the other members to the fairly lit initiation ground which was filled with snake soldiers forming an aisle and the road they were to pass was filled with tiny hot spikes and at the end of the aisle, there was vandrol dressed in a black cloak holding a rod with a snake at the top.

Immediately the drums rollled, Henry and the other new recruits started walking on the ground as he shouted and grunted in pain and he saw someone fall on his face to the spikey ground and the person was dragged away by the older members to be buried. Henry kept walking on the spikes and after what seemed like an eternity, he and the rest who made it went to the chief priest. He saw the chief priest put the snake head on the rod on the forehead of the new recruits as they screamed out in pain. He wondered what was going on with them and when it got to his turn, the chief priest placed the snake head on his forehead and immediately he felt a bit of relief and he wondered why the other men were screaming but suddenly his head felt like it was burning and being stabbed at the same time. Immediately he groaned and fell to the ground and just wished he had died and when he thought the pain was over, he started feeling like his eyes were coming off from it's sockets. He even grabbed the legs of the priest who pushed him away and finally the pain stopped and they all swore to keep every activity secret and to be faithful to the Snake army in front of the deity Fangs.

They were all handed swords and wore the armband of the snake army as they were greeted by old members.

They were then taken to the camp meant for the new members who are to go for a mission to kill in order to get them up and running.
