After a beat, Lexi unbuckled her seat and headed out of the car. With a heavy exhale, she headed to the entrance of the villa.
Without further ado, Lexi pressed on the doorbell and waited. However, no one answered, hence she pressed the doorbell again until the door slowly opened.
From inside the villa, Louis Lu's ever inexpressive front welcomed Lexi. He looked at her, not surprised to have her unannounced visit.
Lexi stared back at him. This was her first time seeing Louis Lu looked less formal. Although his inner white sleeve shirt was still on, the first three buttons were unbuttoned, his sleeved were pulled up to his elbow, as his hair was a little messy — though not enough to make him look indecent and wasted.
