" " You—" " That's why I'm telling you. Marry me. " Aditya pulled his book back out of Aisha's hand. He opened the book and then started reading a random page. "I like you. Marry me. " Aisha said. "Good joke. " " It's not. Marry me. " " Shut up! " " Marry me. " " Can you please stop saying that? " Annoyed, Aditya yelled attracting everyone's attention. " Marry—" Immediately, Aditya covered her mouth and took a dangerous step of looking into her eyes. Again finding the same warmth he had found days ago. ' Why does my heart race when I look into your eyes, Aisha? ' Before he could derive an answer. Aisha pulled Aditya's hand off her mouth and screamed. " MARRY ME!! ADITYA RAICHAND." Letting everyone who had been wondering her reason for arrival know her reason. Excerpt 2: "I am after all a mafia's daughter and am about to marry the most feared mafia the world has ever seen, I have to be ruthless. " Aisha said pointing her gun at her rapist. " I didn't do it. " He screamed. " Not in this life surely, but you did do it to me in my second. You deserve death. You a**hole. " And she pulled the trigger. Bang!!
"I doubt you have anything good to tell me. It seems you w ere only bragging about nothing with that shitty mouth of yours. I am not going to—" When Neel reached right in front of Aisha, only a step above Aisha's, she placed her finger on his lips to shut them up. The finger she had used was the one that had been pierced by the thorn earlier.
Neel immediately moved back, another step above Aisha's, vigorously cleaning his lips and spitting on the staircase. "I don't believe your crap." He said, still spitting.
"Suits you. " Aisha went straight to her room, dodging every spit that had dirtied the stairs. She was unwilling to listen to any more of his nonsense. Moreover, she had some guests waiting for her.
Two people were seated on the sofa of her bedroom when Aisha arrived. Maya had served the tea to the guest along with some cookers, that Aisha had bought yesterday from their trip to the mall.
Aisha sat on the sofa opposite her guests, whose faces showed they had been anxiously waiting for the mysterious daughter of the Khurana family. Who according to Dhananjay's lies is apparently weak, timid, and sickly.
However, when Aisha arrived and sat in front of them elegantly, it was very clear to them that she looked extremely healthy and once she had started talking, it was confirmed. Her gestures were far from someone who was allegedly described as weak, timid, and sickly.
"You two look very surprised. Am I ugly or something?" Aisha asked, surprised by the look the two gentlemen were wearing. She always had self-doubt and was very nervous about meeting strangers. Moreover, understanding people's expressions was never her area of expertise. Thus, all of this made her vary in her looks.
"No— no, absolutely not." One of them said, placing the teacup on the table in hesitation. He had hardly drank any of the tea that had been poured by Maya for him.
"You are beautiful." The other said, one following the first one's action but rather elegantly. "We were just surprised, learning how different you look from the rumors we had heard about you."
"Of course," Aisha said playing with the ring on her finger. "Anyways, my father said you are the best renovators and architects in the town and a very fast one at that?" She asked.
"Indeed, madam." The elegant one said.
"Very well, I want you to complete this within a week. You see the ceiling above my bed, I want that to completely be removed. I hate it. Instead of the dome that it has, I want you to make it flat and hang the chandelier I bought yesterday. "
" That's all. "
" Yes, and do whatever you like with the other things. They don't matter much. I am not picky. Thank you. " Aisha got up from the sofa.
" Miss? Where are you going?" Maya asked when Aisha had slightly opened the door. That's when her eye fell on the broken lock of the door. She closed the slightly opened door. For a second, she couldn't organize her thoughts and the flowing memories of her second life were making things much harder for her.
Her hand was still clenching on the handle of the door. Her other hand had found its way towards her head, pressing them slightly due to the severe pain, she had been sensing. A chilly vibration ran through her vines, followed by cold sweat, when she remembered her forgotten memories. The memories she had tried her best to forget and memories that led her to her death in her second life.
"Gentlemen, I would like you to put a secured lock on this door." She said after getting herself together in a calm and strong voice.
"Ye—yes, Madam." The clumsy one replied. They had been all quietly trying to read the room when Aisha was going through her memory run. All of them including Maya, didn't know what had happened to her to fall so silent for minutes. Maya was confused to the extent that she thought or rather had already come to a conclusion that it was all her fault and that Aisha was angry at her question.
Aisha pulled the handle to open the door and then closed it behind her back. She laid her head on to the door, her hands were still locked onto the handle. Finally, she was able to breathe after a few minutes of silence. When she let go of the handle she remembered Maya's question. Again, she opened the door and popped her head inside.
She caught the sight of two men who had been taking measurements of the Celling, now looking at her and her maid still standing near the balcony, pondering upon what had just happened.
" Gosh! Maya. I think I forgot to tell you this. You see, I had already asked Father about going to another room while the renovation took place. So can you pack up my stuff and send them to the third floor, the mistress room? Also, no need to pack my clothes. Sirs, there is no need for any renovation in that part" Aisha said it all in one breath and then ran quickly out of the awkward situation.
The two men went back to their work after talking to each other in some sign language. Discussing the weirdness of the princess of the Khurana Family.
Maya, on the other hand, had no time to think about the awkward scene that just took place. She rushed around the room to grab all the important stuff which of course included Aisha's books. Quickly she packed the bags in the next few minutes bad rushed to the third room.
Aisha felt very strange about all the weird actions she had pulled in those few minutes, she had been around two strange men. She realized how important it is for her to improve her communication skills. A need for some books on the topic had been raised, followed by the excitement of learning something new.
