The Academy would commence in a few weeks.
Time swiftly passed by.
During these few days, Yejoon had practiced and worked out every day. His body was now very fit and he could last quite a while dancing without struggling to maintain his breath and stamina.
Not only that, he had started to practice his singing. His deep voice was charming and he could also sing quite the high notes. His singing was smooth and fluid and did not sound forced at all, it was as if his entire being was focused in the releasing of its emotions while he sang. He sounded good and his parents made sure he knew that. They found out a while ago he practiced his singing and dancing in his own room. They saw his passion for the two hobbies and decided they would wholly support him and his endeavors.
Park Yejoon was currently practicing his two favorite things to do with his now best friend Jung Mingyu. Although their mental age had a vast difference, Yejoon had no problem talking about his passions with his friend. They had similar likes and dislikes and absolutely loved to tease and joke with each other. They knew what the other was thinking about and the friendship bloomed into a beautiful brotherly bond. Mingyu had further cut his hair to around Yejoon's hair length.

"Dongsaeng, why did you cut your hair?" Yejoon had a puzzled look on his face, though he was inwardly relieved as they would stop being mistaken as a young couple.
"Well, when you mistook me for a girl I realized how long it was."
"I see. You are more handsome like this." Yejoon playfully joked around.
(Author note: Again, this is NOT A BL story. These are just two friends being homiesexual. If you aren't homiesexual with your friends then I don't know if they really are your true friends.)
"Ah, thank you hyung." Mingyu fluttered his eyelashes flirtily at his friend.

They were currently practicing singing and dancing to a well-known pop song in this world in Mingyu's house. They divided the song into different parts to each other and their singing and dancing were very harmonious. Yejoon found that Mingyu was gifted in singing, dancing, and making choreographies like him. They made their own choreography for the song and it flowed perfectly with it. They finished their session and decided to rest for a little bit. Yejoon drank from his water bottle while he thought about this life.
It turned out that in this world some songs weren't made. There were the same people, the same amount of them, the same personalities, yet it was as if they hadn't gained the idea for songs. Boy groups were also more common in this world, there were also way more entertainers in this world. That is not to say there aren't good songs, in fact, their quality reached his past life's society's expectation. It was just that songs made in his past world did not exist in this one. Yejoon wanted to abuse this feature but his memory wasn't to the point of perfectly remembering each and every good song he's ever heard in his entire life. Fortunately,

Yejoon was instantly excited by this revelation. The number of hits and top charts he would get from this joyed him to no end. He imagined the thrill of singing and dancing in front of so many people. The feeling of having people singing his songs. He was truly grateful to the system for all of these new chances he has gotten.
The dance academy Yejoon and Mingyu were going to was of the highest prestige. It was huge and one of the best. There was no way such a group would allow just anyone in; there was usually an examination every year to check who deserved to be in the academy. All of the trainers, coaches, students, and principals for each section would attend the ceremony. Yejoon and Mingyu would sing and dance this song for the examination to try and impress all of them.
They had their last practice and they each returned to their households to rest.

Yejoon had butterflies in his stomach while he was sitting in his mom's car. He was going to one of the world's best academies of dancing and singing. His journey started the moment he set foot into the foundation. However, although nervous he still sported a smile from his excitement.
Huge walls facilities, high buildings, roads, gates, the occasional guards, cars, and luxurious departments came into his vision and what he saw stunned him. There were so many people here looking forward to chasing their dreams. The price to pay to enter this academy was high but they gave poor but talented students scholarships. They gained most of their money from spectators from huge competitions they hosted, annual gifts from successful entertainers, and a very famous show which showcased many things from the academy. This included programs, movies, cartoons, and even more. This school was not just known for singing and dancing; they also had all sorts of professions from the entertainment industry like acting, writing, drawing, directing, orchestras, game coding, comedy, cooking, and some sports. This academy, more like an entertainment company was a hegemon.
The XXX academy was basically the leader of the majority of the entertainment world.
XXX also included high school and college, but they did not teach elementary and middle school. They only had after-school classes for young students like Yejoon and Mingyu.
This academy had schools around the world but this one was its headquarters and main place.
In the past world, this academy did not exist because the idea had not been successful enough yet in this one, it boomed and became immensely powerful.
Yejoon absolutely did not expect all of this. He thought it would just be another decently sized academy but this was literally a city. He did not expect this to be a school, an entertainment company, a college, yet also an academy that had a decent level of education but a prestigious-like entertainment study. He did not expect the number of people here. He did not expect the money this school had. He did not know of the influence this place had. Everything he had thought of this place had been blown off. He decided he would reevaluate everything in this world as it could be different than anything he knows.
His mouth was still dropped in shock and he noted something peculiar. While people were in huge lines waiting for entrance, his mom directly took a turn and arrived at a gate that looked very secure as if saying "VIPs only." It seemed he underestimated the influence of his family. He saw huge buildings and offices as the car passed by. They parked in a small but fancy parking lot. His mom walked with him to the biggest building that had a vast amount of people entering its huge gates. There was a place that looked like a stadium but was covered by a roof. It had seats in a circle facing the center. There were already thousands of people and from what he saw plenty of staff members down in the stadium.
His mom received a call and she took Yejoon's hand to head over to where Mingyu and his mom were sitting. Both their moms had gotten acquainted and like a spark had been ignited they had become best of friends. Their dads were friends but not to the level of their wives.
While their mothers talked, Mingyu and Yejoon were conversing and exclaiming to each other how nervous they were. What Yejoon liked about Mingyu was that he could be very mature at times and childish at other times.
Suddenly, the lights turned off and a now spotlighted orchestra began to play. Mingyu and Yejoon glanced at each other and shrugged to themselves enjoying the music.
