Authors Note

Hello there! This is the very beginning of a story that is, well, very weird. It has been a story going around the back of my mind for close to a decade, and I have finally decided to put pen to paper so to speak, and get it out.

This story is not like what you typically see. In this story there won't be any of those leveling systems, or dungeons crawlers, or murim, or anything else like it. It's not a traditional isekai, or romance, or slice of life.

This is a story that disregards the needs for tradition and seeks to go out and explore what it means to be unique, for all the wrong reasons. There will be loss, and suffering, and pain beyond measure for the characters in this story. This is not a light tale to read for fun. This is a tale of reality, so I do my best to try and reflect that, even though there is magic.

There will be plenty of scenes of frequent and disturbing violence and very graphic descriptions, as well very uncomfortable topics, such as slavery, war, and other stuff. If you don't feel comfortable reading those types of story, then DON'T READ THIS PLEASE.
