Shadow Lover

Megan wakes up on a sunny morning feeling refreshed. He stretched his body on the blanket. He opened his eyes, looking around the quiet and silent surroundings.

"Mr Arthur!" Megan groaned in annoyance. It seemed Arthur had left that place leaving him alone again. There was breakfast on the bedside table for him.

Megan's eyes then saw an object in a small box. Megan reached for it, opened it slowly and found the most beautiful ring she had seen for the first time. Beside him also lay the Black Card. Megan widened her eyes. He wasn't stupid enough not to know what it was. Megan grabbed it with trembling hands.

In the midst of his astonishment, his cell phone rang loudly. Arthur called him.

"Bee, are you awake?" The voice greeted him.

"Heeeemmmmm," Megan said curtly.

"Are you mad at me?" Arthur asked, laughing.

"I'm mad at you," Megan said irritably.

"Why?" Arthur asked lightly.

Megan glared at the phone screen. Arthur had finished him all night and now he was just left in a place he didn't even know where this was. And he can still ask why?!

"Mr. Arthur, you left me here alone!" shrieked Megan in annoyance. Arthur laughed again at that.

"Bee, I don't want to disturb your sleep. Wear the ring, I ordered it especially for you. Also use the card, buy whatever you want," Arthur said, sounding relaxed.

"How can I buy anything I want if you won't let me out." Megan's annoyance grew.

"I've asked the bodyguards to accompany you to the shopping center today. Go, Bee, do a lot of shopping. Pamper yourself," Arthur said silencing all of Megan's emotions just now.

"So you mean I can go for a walk today?" asked Megan, grinning.

"Yes, Bee." Arthur said, Megan squealing with delight. He kissed his phone many times without realizing it as if he was kissing Arthur.

Arthur was delighted to hear the girl. It's getting weirder now.

"But you still have to be accompanied by bodyguards," Arthur said to Megan.

"It's okay, the important thing is that I can go for a walk today," Megan said still cheerfully.

"Okay, don't forget to eat, Bee, wait for me to come home," Arthur finally said before he hung up the phone.

"Yeah, so are you," Megan replied attentively.

Arthur was silent, not answering. His heart fluttered. Her heart was pounding wildly just because Megan had just returned her attention.

Arthur finally hung up after he and Megan were both silent for a long time. Megan had never hung up the phone first, because Arthur would be furious if he did.

Megan immediately went to the bathroom, she rushed to clean herself to get ready to enjoy the day outside. Time that will not be wasted.

Megan came down with two loyal bodyguards guarding her behind. He wandered around, visiting one shop after another.

"Miss, sir ordered you to do a lot of shopping today." One of the guards approached him. Looks like he just received a call from Arthur.

"No need, I just want to go around," said Megan, who was still cheerfully moving to and fro.

"Miss, you have to go shopping, or we could be scolded by the master," said the other guard.

Megan turned her head, staring at the two big men in disgust.

"I don't know what to buy," Megan finally said. After all, he didn't want anything. He just wanted to walk around freely.

"Let's take Miss to the famous shops here." Megan followed the directions given by her bodyguards.

They had stopped at a shop selling branded bags at fantastic prices.

Megan shook her head. He doesn't need that stuff.

"Come on follow me." Megan directs her steps to a grocerry area that sells a lot of basic necessities and household needs. "Help me carry the trolleys in," he said to the two bodyguards who swiftly helped him carry about five large trolleys into the shopping area.

Even though they were confused about what the lady was doing, they went along when asked by Megan to fill the trolly with basic necessities until it was full.

They are also loyal to accompany the young lady when she has to queue and pay for transactions.

"Order lots of taxis to carry this stuff." Megan asked again. The guards quickly obeyed. Finally, after following directions from Megan, they arrived at a densely populated settlement, a slum area also full of street children.

"Help me share all this," he said again. So that day Megan and her bodyguards distributed all the many basic necessities to street children, buskers, and the people who live in poverty there.

Taxi drivers also get a share. They were very grateful to Megan. The two bodyguards stared at Megan in amazement.

"I've been shopping a lot didn't I today?" Megan exclaimed cheerfully when they were on their way home.

It was late afternoon, Megan was back home. Arthur smiled to himself looking at the video the bodyguard had just sent. He didn't expect Megan to shop for other people who were less well off. He didn't even spend a penny to buy anything of value for himself.

"Bee, what exactly are you?" Arthur asked himself for the umpteenth time.

Arthur couldn't wait to see Megan and get home as soon as possible. Currently he is busy taking care of something in France. Arthur wanted to re-engraved happiness in the beautiful girl's heart.

While at home, with Alesha standing beside her, Megan was eating listlessly. He wanted to have lunch with Arthur.

"Aunt Alesha, come with me to eat," Megan asked quietly.

"I can't, Miss. My job is only to serve you," said Alesha firmly.

"I will stop eating if you don't want to accompany me. Later I will be sick and Mr. Arthur will be angry with you," Megan threatened to make Alesha take a deep breath. Finally he sat down too, took food and began to eat regularly.

Even though it was still quiet, at least Megan didn't feel alone right now. The sound of the clinking of spoons and forks clashing made him feel more comfortable.

Megan doesn't know how long she'll have to be a shadow woman for Arthur. He did not want to expect much and more. He realized that Arthur would never fall in love with him. Arthur only loved his body at this point. It also does not guarantee that Arthur will always want him.

Megan doesn't know what will happen next. What will his fate be like? Maybe when Arthur gets bored or finds the right girl, then he'll be kicked out of this house.

Megan is just a shadow. Arthur only needed his body, nothing else. Now he just thought, he gave his body, served Arthur any time and Arthur would do whatever he asked. Meanwhile that.
