I AM ALONE.

Xi Youran POV

I woke up all alone. It was so cold and the noisy morning is not here anymore. My chest feels heavy, I feel suffocated. As if I was abandoned. I feel lost. I tried to find the link to Hui and Master but I no matter how I tried, I just can't. 

"Hui...Where are you..." My legs feel numb and I found it hard to move my body maybe it was because I sleep too long. I looked around me and I saw an unfamiliar place. 

"Master..." When I tried to find their presence, I cannot gather any Qi. I feel nothing other than tears rolling down on my cheeks. I feel so helpless. 

"Where are you...Please come back" Then suddenly my head struck with the pieces of memories that answered me. 

"Don't leave me...I still need you guys..." The memories that flashed through my mind is not mine instead it was a message left for me. 

"If you wanna leave me...bring me too" I just cannot accept the fact that they are not here anymore. I keep asking myself at that moment. 

"What is the point of living...when everything I work so hard disappeared just like that? What is the point of being an alchemist when I lost my Qi. Why am I still alive? Wouldn't it better to die than facing the truth?" I cried my soul out. When I finally calm down, I walked out from the cave and the sun rays blinded me. 

"Master...What am I going to do now..." I looked to the left and found a small river. It was so clear and my legs walk toward it. I wash my face and looked at my current appearance. 

"Just how long I have been sleeping? Why did I lost weight so much?" When I was caressing my face while looking at my own reflection, I saw the ring that the old man left to me. 

"Is it possible to use this spatial ring without Qi?" Luckily it worked well. But even with so many books of martial arts inside it, I cannot convince myself to study it because I am no longer a cultivator. While at it, I took a bath and change my ragged clothes into new one. It was a man clothes but whatever. 

I get inside the cave where I have been sleeping and took out everything inside the first spatial ring. Unfortunately the second ring doesn't work without Qi. While I rummaging on the scroll that scattered on the ground, I feel a nostalgic feeling. My tears roll down on my cheeks once again. 

"I should put this back inside the ring" Believing that I already put everything inside, I plopped down and I saw another scroll left behind. It has a unique golden color ties on it and it makes me so curious. 

"What is this-OUCH!!" The moment I spread out the scroll, something pierce into my finger and of course it bleeds. I was cursing about it and suddenly my body becomes so hot and cold. 

"This pain is unbearable..." That was the last word I utter before passed out and darkness engulfed me. 

Normal POV

"Cai Xiao...Still no news about her?" JianZi was doing his work while talking to someone. Cai Xiao shakes his head from left to right. It has been three months since the incidents and TianZi has come to meet JianZi a few days after the incidents. 

~Flashback~

"Brother JianZi! Tell me the truth! Where did you hide Xi Youran?!" TianZi come to his study room with an angry face. JianZi couldn't hide the truth anymore and thus he just tell the truth. 

"I didn't hide her. Also my last letter did not arrive at her hand because she was attacked by some evil clan so I don't know where is Xi Youran at the moment. Cai Xiao even encountered assasin and I don't know if he will be able to get well" TianZi couldn't help but shocked at his brother words. 

"Then why didn't you tell me that you know where she was hiding? If only you told me, Maybe I could help her" TianZi still doubting JianZi words. 

"If I told you will you be there?" JianZi asked him while looking at the document on his table. TianZi flinched a little bit as he tried to remember what he has been doing in time when Xi Youran disappeared. 

"Did you tried to find her? Did you asked me? Why should I told you?" JianZI put down the document he currently working on and stare straight into TianZi's eyes. 

~end of flashback~

"Xi Youran has been gone for more than nine months...Maybe she already died out there" Song Yian was mocking Xi Jia that currently waiting for General Jiang Youen to be back from his duties. 

"How dare you- *COUGH*" Xi Jia was coughing so hard. Xi Yue was so hurt seeing how the wicked Stepmother of her have been bullying her mother. Xi Yue has been sending letter to his brother but none of it get reply. 

"Young master Jiang Feng is back" Xi Yue was pissed off and stomped her way towards him and without any warning a soft slap encounter Jiang Feng cheeks. 

"WHY DIDN'T YOU REPLY MY LETTER?!" Jiang Feng was confused and calm his little sister down. He pulled away his sister from there and talked about it. 

"What do you mean letter? I have never received letter from you. Where is sister Youran?" Jiang Feng was confused as well as Xi Yue. 

"No letter? I have been sending you letter in these few months...Did the guard fooled me?" Xi Yue was crying. 

"Calm down...Why did you write me letter?" Xi Yue stopped crying and told him from A to Z. 

"Xi Youran is not here and mother health has been deterioting...Song Yian has been bullying you since mother falls ill?" It was like a big boulder fall on him when he hears it. Jiang Feng was so sad and lost at the moment. He also feel so ashamed for thinking that his family is in good condition. 

"Young master! First madam coughed a lot of blood!" A maid suddenly comes out shouting for Jiang Feng as they stormed to their mother's side. 

"MOM!" Xi Jia has fallen on the ground while the wicked Song Yi just watched like nothing is happening. At that time, Jiang Youen has arrived. 

"Why is it so noisy?!" Jiang Youen was shocked to see his wife on the floor with blood on her clothes. 

"XI JIA!" He stormed to her as he shouted for a physician to come but at the time when the physician arrived, it was too late. Xi Jia passed away. From distance, Song Yian smirked. 

"Mom...please wake up! I promise I won't be naughty anymore so please wake up!" Xi Yue still crying since last night. At the Ancestral hall of Jiang Clan, many people comes to see Xi Jia for the last time before they cremate her body. While Xi Jia's body cremated, someone was looking from far away with an emotionless face then slowly that person's figure disappeared.
