Chapter 11 - 'Help'!? Are the zombies attacking!?

Immediately after they decided to go sightseeing, Rei teleported all of them above Kyoto City, leaving another Rei on his previous spot to look after the shop.

And since Rei doesn't have anything to do in the shop other than looking after it and wait for a customer, he decided to double check the Mana Circles which he will use to merge the space here in earth with the space where his floating city is at Is-kai.

Meanwhile, Rei have also just appeared above the Kyoto City together with his daughters.

「Let's see… I wonder where we should go first...」

「Before that, Father, I think you need to change your appearance first? So that you won't be recognize by anyone who knows you.」

「I agree with Amara, Father. Although we will make ourselves unnoticeable, we still need to make sure as there might be someone close to you who have innate ability to see anything unseeable from normal people.」, said Rhian.

「Alright. And if that's the case, then we should also rather do sightseeing in another place to be sure that I won't meet anyone I know. 」

Then Rei's appearance gradually changed, turning into that of early 20s. And his height grew one and a half feet taller, making him a foot taller than his daughters.

「Now then, I think we should go to Tokyo instead.」

After Rei said that, their surroundings suddenly became blurry and they instantly arrived above Tokyo.

「Hmm? Oh, I know this place! This is Shinjuku where we previously lived! So, where do you want to go first? Me and mom frequently went to Takashimaya when we lived here. It also have the most better selection of women accessories and apparels which is also one of the reason why mom like to shop there.」

Even when they moved to Kyoto, Rei's mother still preferred to shop in the branch of Takashimaya in Kyoto.

「Then we will go along with your suggestion, Father. Since we also need to familiarize and copy the trends in this world.」, said Amara.

But Rei then suddenly remembered that they don't have money. Although they have many wealth from Is-kai, they don't have any currency of this country.

Seeing their father suddenly making a troubled expression, Amara spoke.

「Don't worry, father. We already have a solution if you're worried about money.」

Earlier when they were searching the internet, they also search how to exchange golds to this country's currency.

「Really? Then it seems that we can buy no matter how much we want without worry.」

After they made a decision, they moved to each of their separate destination.

When Rei and Rhian arrived, they appeared in a hallway, where stores of ladies' accessories, handbags, cosmetics and the likes, can be found.

There are still only few people in the mall due to the lockdown restrictions and only 18 years old and above can enter the malls.

And since they are still waiting for Amara and Natasia to arrive, they decided to just walk on the hallway while watching at the stores windows where the merchandise can be seen.

But even though they haven't walk for too long yet, they suddenly heard a scream.

「H, help!」

Rei and Rhian halted their steps, and they look at the store where the voice came from.

They can also see few people looking inside the store, curious about the sudden scream.

「Oh no… Is the zombies attacking now!?」

Rei always saw in the movies that zombies were always appearing at day one or the start of the show. And it's only been a few hours since they arrive here in earth.

「I don't think so, Father. If you look through inside the store, there seems to be a robbery happening inside the store.」

「Hmm? Oh, you're right, Rhian-chan. That's good… I mean, that's still bad, right!? We need to stop it! Let's go!」

Then Rei dragged his daughter inside the store without being noticed by the few bystanders.

When they arrive inside, they saw a man threatening the cashier to give him the money while pointing his knife at the woman, who's likely to be a customer, near him.

「Father, just stay behind me and let me deal with this.」, said Rhian.

This is just a trivial matter. Rhian just need to control the man, make him go away and kill his own self after getting away from her father's sight.

No one would be suspicious of it and the people would just think that the man must have a very big problem for commiting a suicide.

「It's alright, Rhian-chan. Let me handle this on my own.」

His Iris-oneechan, the goddess who summoned him, have always said that everything happens for a reason.

So this situation might be due to fate's machinations.

Events like this are like quests that would make him get closer to his goal or would give him something that he might need for his adventure. Like connections, knowledge about locations of magical items and the likes.

Something like this have always happened before and his Iris-oneechan said that it must be because of his Protagonist Aura.

「Maybe that beautiful oneesan must be someone from a rich family that have connection to supernatural world or someone who will become great in the future...」, Rei said seriously while looking at the woman, who was being taken a hostage, with his narrowed eyes.

「I don't think so, Father. Maybe she would instead become one of your lover like usual...」, said Rhian, trying not to sound exasperated.

「Really? I didn't think of that possibility, Rhian-chan… And if that would be the case, then it can't be help, can't it? Anyway, I should help them now before the cashier give all the money!」

After approaching behind the man who seems to be in his 40s, Rei chopped on his neck, making him loss conciousness.

But Rei immediately grabbed the collar around the man's nape to prevent him from collapsing on the woman.

「Oops. That was close. Let me lay you down on the ground. I hope you don't mind.」, said Rei to the fainted man.

After laying down the man and taking the kitchen knife away from him, Rei turned to the woman and the cashier who become entranced for some reason while looking at his face.

Rei felt uncomfortable and telepathically spoke to Rhian,

『Rhian-chan, is there some dirt on my face?』

『Don't mind them, Father. They are just shock at the sequence of events that happened to them.』

After nodding inwardly at Rhian, Rei said especially to the cashier,

「Ehem. Hey there, oneesans. I think you need to call the security or the police?」

Rei's words snapped them out of their daze and the cashier immediately grabbed the telephone to call the security.
