The Return of the Exiled SSS-grade Necromancer

Kill or be killed. The gods sent 5 exiles from each world to compete for power in the Academia - the otherworld Academy for the EXILES. In his venture for power, he married with death in exchange for the forbidden art of necromancy - the power that could even kill the creator of all - the ABSOLUTE ONE. He kissed fallacy and mockeries, all for greater power. But, there was a shortcoming. The necromancy skill that was rumored to be the strongest was weeded out of its prime. It is now degraded to the weakest E-grade. Little did fate know that Alab has awakened an SSS-grade unique skill that could upgrade the skills' level. Just when he thought that everything was going his way, his feet were pinned to the ground as he couldn't escape the creeping shadow of his past that was restless in spawning challenges. Things got crazier as the exiles learned of the current state of their planet. What would the exiles do when they discover that the planets that once ousted them, were now on the verge of destruction? Will these exiles choose to forget the fire of hate or will they add fuel to the scorching demise with the very hands exiled by their fellow citizens? Witness Alab and his fellow exiles as he battled adversities. On his side lurked his loyal army of undead. ----- Disclaimer: The art on the cover is not mine, if the owner wants it gone, please tell me. TALK WITH EARTH GOD (2)

Dusk conquered the sky with the descent of the glowing constellations that dotted the night sky. It was deep in the night yet the class just ended for Han Seo Yeon and Anastasia.

Their orientation took much more time than assumed. The door hissed open, sparking Girth running out of his room with arms wide open.

The barracks might be shabbier with gashed roofs and walls, dust loomed in furniture, and defective glass windows clogged by moss, letting shafts of silver rays of the moonlight dawn on the room but the barracks were evidently bigger.

The lounge was wider with fluffy sofas and a glass table. They also didn't have to share rooms anymore as 5 wider rooms were provided.

Girth ran out of the room, rubbing his rumbling stomach. He had consumed his stored foods but had yet to satiate his hunger.

"Blonde girl, give me food, ke", Girth whimpered like a kid.

Anastasia was beyond exhausted as consecutive classes wore her out. She leaned her back on the sofa and then placed several Earth cuisines on the table.

Girth's eyes glowed as the scent pervaded his nose. He immediately wolfed down the food, tossing crumbs on the table.

Han Seo Yeon who was equally exhausted sighed. His cat eyes were piercing Girth.

"Did you use up your gold coins again?", Han Seo Yeon asked.

Girth gobbled up his food and with his mouth full, he garbled.

"Keaahh anh habeuw kash"

"Don't speak with your mouth full", Han Seo Yeon rubbed his temple.

*cough*

"My classmates, they are earless! They just don't listen, KE! They voted me as their class liaison!", Girth ranted. He was still to move on from the event earlier and he felt that he could never.

Whimpering to Anastasia, Girth nagged her.

"Pfft", Anastasia found it hilarious to have Girth as a class liaison. With the way he was, Anastasia doubted that he could fulfill the role.

"Why are you laughing, blonde girl, ke?! It's not funny!", Girth retorted and then proceeded to narrate the event from earlier.

He narrated how Felix got late to the class and how Alab farted so badly that it made the entire class run out of the room.

"Really?! He did that? Pfft! HAHHA, what?! Alab farted in the first class?! HAHAHA", Anastasia couldn't hold back her laughter. Even Han Seo Yeon chuckled as he imagined the enigmatic Alab trying his best to brush it off somehow.

Amidst their laughter, the person in subject, Alab, walked out of his room. The stiff grins from the three were the first thing that greeted Alab as he exited the room.

'Must be nice to be at lax', Alab pondered.

He couldn't muster the time to take a breather and relax for a moment. Most especially because his skill [Conversion (SSS)] was best utilized with strict time management.

Every second counts to him.

Seeing the three seemingly frozen in the spot with grins all over their faces, Alab brushed it off as he headed straight to the main door.

Before he could do so, the voice of Anastasia pricked his ears.

*cough*

"Alab, are you going to a dungeon again? I think we should exchange information first about our classes and Academia.", Anastasia was the first one to recoup herself. Followed by Han Seo Yeon who turned red from being overly expressive and finally, Girth who was still giggling as he held back his laughter.

Alab pondered over her words.

'Should I ask them about the training facilities?', Alab recalled their reward of free access to the water training facility for a week. Also, the consumable free pass could be used for any facility within the outer core.

Alab might have valued time greatly but he equally valued knowledge. He couldn't let this opportunity to obtain information about the Inner Core slip out of his hands.

Turning his head, Alab strode toward the lounge, leaning on the fluffy sofa right after.

Tapping on the table, Han Seo Yeon was the first to speak.

"I am assigned to Silver Class 7. There are 40 of us with human, fairies, dwarves, and werewolves species.", Han Seo Yeon stated.

'So it seems that each class has 40 students', Alab inferred.

"They were all average species but you should be wary more of the werewolf clans. They were notoriously vicious and megalomaniacs", Han Seo Yeon added.

Seeing that Han Seo Yeon had finished, Anastasia was the next to speak.

"As for me, I'm in Gold Class 2. There are only 2 sections in the Gold class with 25 students each. I have gladiators, valkyrie, elves, and even draconians as my classmates. Among them, I cannot tell who is the strongest based on their aura. But if it's in terms of rank, the highest rank among us is the rank 11 Dragon King", Anastasia explained.

Alab took note of the traits and danger level of each species as Han Seo Yeon and Anastasia proceeded with their elaboration. Alab would throw in minimal words in turn, sharing the little information obtained.

When they finally depleted their information about the species, Alab raised his query about the water training facility.

'It could be a great or worse training ground depending on its suitability to me', Alab pondered.

Training grounds had fluctuating impacts on an individual depending on their suitability. As Alab was currently paving his path toward swordsmanship, he inferred that a training ground linked to the way of the sword would be best.

Anastasia answered his query.

"I didn't know much but our professor said that water training facility has different methods for improving the physical attribute and is best suited for mermen or water-inclined species", Anastasia vaguely explained. She had not been in a training facility and it appeared that she couldn't be in one for a while.

As they proceeded with their discussions, Alab came to learn that Anastasia and Han Seo Yeon's class failed the punishment earlier. With that, they were revoked of access to any Academia facility for a full week.

Anastasia could only furrow her brows as she recalled how the prideful higher species argued over the jokes. In the end, they failed miserably, and tension brewed within their class. Han Seo Yeon's class was no different.

'It seems that we are the only class that is still at peace with each other, Alab deduced.

Truth be told, Copper Class 3 was rather unified as the bonus reward which was a free pass sparked a sliver of faith toward the foreign yet same-section species.

Amid their talks, Girth passed out from exhaustion and hurried to his room. Alab dawdled for more as he was all ears to Anastasia and Han Seo Yeon's words.

Anastasia enumerated the prosperous inner core's facilities and towns. Also, their learning facilities were far better than Han Seo Yeon's and Alab's. She added that they were taking 5 subjects whilst Han Seo Yeon was taking 4.

She also shared the vital lessons from their classes. Amid her sharing, Alab could somehow feel that there were momentary dreadful eyes of Anastasia as she narrated how most of the species in her class were equipped with A-grade items.

She couldn't ponder how they managed to come up with such items at this early time but she just decided to brush it off.

Han Seo Yeon on the other hand, shared the sparking feud in their class and the vicious species eyeing for a chance to slaughter the weaker species.

Finally, when midnight was about to hit, Han Seo Yeon and Anastasia tossed their backs to the sofa, sighing as they digested the overloaded information they just acquired.

Alab similarly digested every chunk of knowledge and then stood up a while after. He headed straight to the main door and pulled it open.

"He is going to the dungeon again, won't he?", Anastasia didn't even bother halting Alab. No matter her words, Alab remained restless in hunting monsters.

Han Seo Yeon nodded his head as he glanced at the distant image of Alab, riding on the back of Misery, flying high in the sky. The picturesque silhouettes of a boy and a griffin flying under the silver moonlight brought about a mesmerizing yet solitary ambiance.

Up in the sky, the chilly breeze of the night soothed as it gently caressed the skin of Alab. His eyes were indifferent as he pondered.

'I have obtained the acquirable information for now. I wonder what should I ask the god of Earth?', he pondered.

When midnight hits, system notifications fill every student's sight.
