Hera's phone was buzzing with notifications nonstop, jolting her awake. As she groggily opened her eyes, her phone rang. Normally, she wasn't a grumpy morning person, but today she felt like making an exception.
The sun had yet to rise, and it was far too early for her to be awake. Her joints ached, and she felt on the verge of a fever. Reluctantly, she answered the call.
"Hello?" Her voice was still raspy, and her throat was dry. Groggily, she stepped out of bed to get some water, thankful for the pitcher always kept on her coffee table.
"Babe, it's me!!!" Athena's exasperated voice came from the other side.
"What's wrong?" Hera asked as she poured herself a glass of water.
