The Plane Blast

Both planes took off simultaneously at six o'clock sharply. After about seven hours, a piece of unexpected news left the city in disarray and shocked everyone.

The aircraft that was meant to travel abroad for medical treatment experienced a malfunction that caused the aircraft to explode. Only a few of the victims could be saved by the rescuers; some perished in the explosion.

All around Elbonia, word spread as fire that the Adam family's only daughter had perished in an aircraft explosion.

However, only those with inside knowledge were aware that the explosion did not cause any injuries to anyone, and that Adam and the Daisen family had staged it.

The explosion occurred while crossing the nation of Sylvanor, where Beck and his wife Daisy are regarded as the most renowned and powerful individuals.

If they are referred to as the second most prominent persons in Sylvanor, no one dares to claim to be the first. Thus, it was not difficult for them to get the police to alter the report to fit what they were saying.

Nevertheless, the family declared Zara dead for her protection so that she wouldn't be bothered by the assailant until they located him.

On the other hand, since she was unable to leave the bed until now, the person who had been the talk of the nation was still lying on the bed in the aircraft. Grandpa Charles was reading a book while seated in the chair next to the bed.

The doctor who accompanied Charles was taking a look at the monitors and also checking on IV drops.

"Grandpa Charles, would you mind relaxing in one of the rooms? You've been sitting for over five hours." Gazing at Charles, Zara spoke.

"Don't worry about me, darling," Charles smiled as he glanced up at her. "I'm capable of handling it. And I'll go take a nap if I can't."

After three more hours, the aircraft eventually touched down at Laurania's private airport. Zara begged Charles to let her walk, but he refused, thus Zara was carried out by the bodyguards.

When they came out, there were already persons dressed in black waiting for them with three cars. After getting into one of the vehicles, Charles and Zara headed to Sunset Retreat Mansion, the seniors' residence. The vehicle was positioned between the other two cars, which was for security.

Another car was provided to drop off the individuals who followed Charles. Those individuals are not residents; rather, they are Charles's apprentices who came to this place to gain knowledge from Charles.

The vehicle eventually came to a stop at Sunset Retreat Mansion. The guard assisted Zara and got her into a wheelchair. She is not unfamiliar with this home. As they entered, she noticed a bunch of people standing there carrying poppers to greet them.

However, as they entered, she noticed a significant change in everyone's face and turned to face Charles. Saying, "Cough....cough... why are you guys in a daze?" Charles cleared his throat. "Can't you welcome Zara properly?"

Soon everyone came back to their senses and popped the poppers with a wide smile on their faces. The people are none other than Grandpa Michael and his wife Emma, Grandpa James with his wife Avery, Grandpa Arthur with his wife Evelyn, and Grandpa Charles's wife Catalina.

They cheerfully escorted Zara to a ground-floor room that was elegantly decorated. With a smile on her face, Catalina stepped forward and said, "Zara dear, we have decorated this room for you till you recover. Because from here, you will find it easy and pleasant to move around the estate as needed."

"And once you recover, you got a special room on the second floor. We had it custom remodeled and furnished to your specifications. Additionally, there is a separate drawing area with a fantastic view from the room's window." Evelyn added, smiling as she stepped forward.

"Grandma Evelyn and Grandma Catalina, I sincerely appreciate your help. But due to my visit, you guys didn't have to do as much. Even if you provided me with the room I had before, it's still good for me." Zara smiled at them and spoke.

"How can we do that? We gave you that room because of your stubbornness and not because we wanted to. Now that you'll be staying here so it is different from before." Emma said looking at Zara.

Zara was helpless and didn't know what to do, so she went according to their arrangements. After settling Zara in the room, the group went out leaving a maid with Zara to look after her.

Once they were all outside, they entered the inner living area and took seats on the couch. "How did Zara get hurt so bad?" Avery inquired, with a dejected look on her face.

"It's due to the force applied by the truck when the collision happened. She seemed to have suffered several fractures and blood losses, but fortunately, the incident did not result in any broken bones." Charles sighed in worry as he said.

"How come they couldn't discover the culprit? If I find him, I'll skin him alive and shatter every bone on my own. With his hands clenched, Arthur spoke.

"All right, all right. This is not the time to think about this. Charles, keep it in mind. You are now in charge of Zara's health. Give her the attention she deserves." Michael remarked while glancing at Charles.

"It's nothing to worry about. In just two months, I'll bring back the previous Zara, with her flawless, healthy skin and figure." With complete assurance, Charles remarked.

"Ladies, you are now in charge of Zara. She needs all of you to be there for her. Give her anything she asks for." Michael stated while glancing at the women. "Don't worry. She'll receive what she desires." Emma gave him comfort by patting on back of his hand.

"And Arthur, tighten the security such that not even a single living person may enter without anyone's knowledge." Michael gave Emma a nod before turning to face Arthur and spoke firmly.

"Leave that to me. I'll see how someone enters without my awareness." Arthur stated with a cold look.
