We were now in the backyard, and from here I could watch several fighters running around and dragging equipment into an armored car.

I was mentally preparing... for the slaughter, so to speak. As far as we know, a lot of people at the beginning of this whole epidemic rushed to the airport to fly as far as possible. Who was flying to their relatives, who was just returning home after a trip, in general, there were quite a lot of people. That is, there will be plenty of infected around the airport, as well as in it itself. At the police station, everything turned out somehow by itself, we needed cars and I had to kill all the infected... however, the situation is similar here, we need to save the squad and get into the control room to check if there is a connection with the outside world. And in any case, the airport will not be superfluous, now the state system has collapsed and there are no laws. If on television in the first hours of infection they tried to tell everyone to stay at home and soon the government would solve the problem, and this calmed the masses of people. Then when this very television turned off, and there were even more infected, there was no time for laws and other rules.
