What Will It Be?

Emily watched as Elle plummeted, but before she could fully splatter on the road, Emily manipulated the gravity surrounding her, and she started floating back up.

"Do you want me to let go of you again? I'm just asking to be absolutely sure," Emily asked the frightened Elle through a wicked smile.

Elle hastily shook her head, too traumatized to spit out a word. Emily nodded, brought Elle back into her arms, and flew towards her earlier destination before the pitstop.

Manipulating gravity using the Force wasn't as easy as Emily made it out to be, even for her. That's why she had to bear the burden of carrying some light weight in her arms.

Simply manipulating gravity for herself was already taxing on her lunar energy and mental focus. So, supposing she manipulated gravity for Elle too, it would be too much of a burden.
