CHAPTER 35

LILY'S POV

I could hear the horses galloping, moving the carriage faster, as I delved into the dish made of tacos that had some meat in it, not minding the stare that seemed to be boring holes into the back of my head.

"Slow down" he urged, but I didn't listen to him as I kept munching away. From the corner of my eyes I could see him shake his head at my gluttony.

"The meal is for both of us, Ari," he said. I looked up to meet his gaze, raising an eyebrow at him.

My bad… Nobody told me afterall.

He took a spoon and scoop a spoonful of the soup, bringing the spoon to me.

My eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

'Was he planning to feed me again?'

Well that's what it was.

"Taste this" he said with a mischievous grin, his playful eyes scanning mine.

Looking at the smile on his face, I felt my heart skip a bit, his chiseled jawline moved his face into a brighter smile making him more handsome than I remembered.
