My two-faced mother? Everyone had a complaint or two about my mother these days, and it was all in one direction. It had begun to weigh on me honestly.
My Delta returned with allegations against her. I didn't expect him to so strongly resent her and speak so hatefully after crying for hours about the Lead Warrior's death.
Apparently, my mother never told him about the war my father planned and deployed him to go on a useless mission when he could have helped with his family guards.
That was true, and I never really understood why my father allowed the Delta and his guards to leave when he planned a war that huge.
But it made sense if it was actually my mother's suggestion, because my father listened to her always.
