Chapter Hundred-Fifteen – Dwayne Ruffland
Sebastian's POV
Unless my mother had set a trap, it would have been impossible for her to know that the Lead Warrior would have died.
"I can't believe you'd ask me that, Sebastian." Her words snapped me from my thoughts. She looked away in disappointment. "Why would I cause the death of an official because of personal feelings?"
The girl shook her head. "That wasn't his question. Did you hate the Lead Warrior or not? That's his question."
I frowned but turned to the Delta to know if he thought the same way. He also didn't look convinced with her response.
"Please do better than that," he said. "My guards are feeling really useless and demoralized because of this, and it's really affecting me as their leader."
I didn't know about that. "It's not their fault."
