Chapter Twenty-Seven:
Seraphina's POV
Percy was registered as my sponsor in the business school since I had no living parents. That made me pause and stare at the wall for a while.
His full name was Percival Lennon, and he was twenty-one. Maybe I should respect him more since he was three years older and not completely a jerk all the time.
He returned with the receipt for my school fees. I smiled as I stretched my hand to receive it. "Thank—"
"Look at the money I spent on you, little miss," he interrupted, waving the receipt in my face. "Don't waste my money because you wouldn't be able to replace it." He smirked and dropped the receipt on me.
My smile faded, and I balled my fists. I had been so wrong. This guy was really just a full-blown jerk with no redeemable qualities.
I glared at him as he walked away. One of his bodyguards handed me a branded bag filled with notebooks, a pen, a snack, and a card.
