• Second Calamity: Beast Influx

Snipers. They were large, fast birds, each with a wingspan stretching nearly ten feet. Their feathers were a dark and mottled brown, which blended ideally with their natural habitat — the rocky terrains.

They had elongated beaks, shaped like a trumpet, from which they could shoot needle like deadly projectiles with pinpoint accuracy. Their beaks were serrated, eyes red, talons hooked and razor-sharp, a giant horn on top of their heads and a long tail.

However, what made the Snipers truly terrifying was their hunting method. In flocks, they would take to the skies, circling high above until they sighted a prey on the ground. Then, they would dive with incredible speed, releasing a volley of their needle-like projectiles from their beaks.

These projectiles could pierce through armor and flesh with ease, killing their prey instantly. After the projectiles had done its job, the Snipers would swoop down to feast on the dead prey.
