Chapter 7: Darkness

"So, you two left the group because of me?" I asked with an emotional tone.

"Yep" Both of them replied at the same time.

"Oh, you two are really my best friends." I said in mocking emotional tone.

"I know that you are not really emotional" Aditya said and the act was over.

I wiped the fake tears and smiled again.

"So, what is our next plan?" Sana suddenly asked and I looked towards her confused.

"I mean we have to survive in this apocalypse so what should be our plan to increase the survival rate?" She further said.

"She's right Agastya" Aditya added.

I sat down on the bare ground and started to ponder. While I was pondering, both of them left to get survival items like food and water.

After some time, a plan popped up in my mind, I picked up my trident and started to carve a map on the streets.

After a few minutes my plan making was done. They haven't arrived yet so I started to meditate to make my mind calm and then used my inner mind to see how different plans would work.

I started to test out my plan and I saw that there were some dangers to my plan, so I started to edit it. Finally, after a few minutes in my inner mind, the plan was done, and it had 0 casualties.

It was a full proof plan. I sensed Aditya and Sana's aura coming close, so I opened my eyes.

"Are you done, Captain?" Aditya asked and I nodded.

"So, as you can see from the carving, there are two potential safe routes from where we can escape without encountering many rakshasas.

First safe route: The ganga river, but this route is impossible as we don't have a boat.

Second safe route: From my home's basement. This route is probably the safest route since no Rakshasas can fit inside my home and the basement is not that big to fit 10 ft rakshasas. This basement route will lead us to the nearest city Devangiri and Devangiri is probably our safest bet since currently there are no rakshasas there.

So do you two agree or disagree?"

I finished my narration and looked at them. They were just staring at me awed probably because of my planning.

"We agree" Both of them said at the same time.

"But I have a doubt?" Sana suddenly asked and I looked at her prompting her to say what is going inside her mind.

"Devangiri is very far away and if I had to guess, it would approximately take us two days to reach there" She raised her doubt and I started to chuckle since my brain had already formulated a solution for that.

"I assume we will use our tantric powers to reach there" Aditya answered after he saw my grin.

"Yep, and you know me so well" I answered.

"Of course I am your best friend after all" He said with a prideful smile etched on his face.

"Wait you guys are tantrics?" Sana asked as she didn't know this information.

"Well actually my father was a tantric because of that I know some spells, but Agastya is more proficient in tantric usage since he received training from a very aghori and he himself became an aghori but me and his family brought him back"

Aditya narrated and I glared at him for revealing that much information about me.

Aditya saw my glare and he just smiled slyly at me.

I really wanted to beat him but thanks to my emotional control, I didn't.

Aditya and I started to chant mantras which interested our perception, reaction and travel speed.

But unfortunately, due to our tantric seal which his father placed on us because of a prophecy we suffered the backlash of using spells.

Blood was dripping from our eyes, mouth, nose and ears but we were kind of used to the pain now.

I picked up Sana bridal style and ran, we kept running and we kept facing the brunt of the injuries but after 2 hours we finally reached the hidden door of the city Devanagri.

Sana exited my hands while slightly blushing at the close contact, we had for a brief amount since I knew she still had a little bit of feelings for me.

We didn't deactivate our spells since we needed great strength to push this door so we got to work. Me and Aditya started to push the door albeit slowly since we still couldn't handle the weight of the door.

When the door finally opened, we were all greeted by a brilliant sight, the brilliant, beautiful city of Devanagari which was still not infested with the Rakshasa.
