She shot him a menacing glare and spoke through gritted teeth. "Do you think you can do as you please because you grew a few feet taller than me, kid?"
Khai playfully ruffled Madge's pink hair with his large hands before stepping into her cramped office. "Did this space get smaller?" His nonchalant tone was a stark contrast to Madge's seething one.
"You're a giant, that's what you are. Get out so I can go back to sleep!"
"Don't you think you sleep too much?" he smirked.
"I'd like to put you to sleep. Permanently." She muttered, plopping her head back into her arms to go back to sleep on her desk.
"I need you to heal me, Madge. It's a quick fix."
"I have no intention of easing any suffering you're going through at the moment."
"Madge, come on. It's too early to go to the clinic, and I really want to get back to practice." He nudged her with his arm, shaking her lightly so she wouldn't fall asleep on him. "You don't have to do it for nothing; I have a surprise for you."
