Chapter Eighty Nine: The Meeting

It had been a long night, one in which Raven spent the entire night trying to prefect her idea. She didn't have the time to test it in any regard so she would have to do her best to convince the King and Queen that it would be in their best interest to believe In Her.

Penny and Raven made their way to the castle, escorted by Keera. The castle was even more imposing up close. They made their way through its darkened doors and found a giangantic throne room, at least three or so times bigger than the one within the Witches Palace.

It was intimidating and yet they continued forward to find both the King and Queen waiting for them.

" There they are, the ones who plan to save the world" spoke the King, in an ever present commanding tone.

" It is an honor that you would meet with us today" Raven smiled as she bowed before the empire.

" We are of the understanding that you have a way to fix our issues with your people..and you have a way to sustain us without causing conflict in the future? " The King questioned, he seemed to have for more to say that his Queen who sat, blankly staring at the two with a strange interest.

Raven stepped forward and explained her plan the best that she could. She knew that she didn't have proof of the concept but assured that she would continue to work on it until she got it perfect.

" What you propose is possibly life changing for us. If you wish for us to delay an act of aggression then we will do so. But that is because in the end, we do want peace. But we also want equality. We want to be treated as equals" The Kings words echoed through the room.

" Our Khalivar has married the Princess Aurora who will one day take the throne for herself. It is believed that she would be more aligned with our needs and demands. Though we know better. She would attempt to stab us in the back the moment the opportunity arises..and that cannot be allowed"

Penny now stepped forward. " We have our own issues with Aurora and we assure you that she will not remain within power for long. She has a child that is on the way, and this child will take her place. This child, we have on good authority, will be the true leader of the Kingdom. And she will be the leader that we all seek. And if Aurora were to remain alive, she would attempt to destroy her daughters efforts" Penny stood firm in face of the King.

" You are willing to stand by this? " The King asked to which Penny nodded.

" I am willing to die for this" she smiled.

The king nodded an agreement and was willing to delay any acts of aggression against the kingdom of the witches so long as both Penny and Raven were to keep their word. Any form of deception or treachery would lead to a direct attack on the Witches and they themselves. This was a dangerous game that they would be playing and the vampires were dangerous enemy. They could not afford to be wrong no matter what.

Penny and Raven took their leave and were escorted from the castle by Keera who seemed rather delighted at the meeting. " Well one thing I can promise she was that the meeting went well. If they didn't feel as though they could trust you, you would have been killed on the spot by myself" She assured them.

" Well we need to get to work if we are going to make this happen" Raven pointed out as they arrived at the home of Keera.

" We need to leave and perform some tests. We will be back if you would be willing to have us in your home again" Ravens request was met with a nod from Keera who opened the door to her home and stepped inside.

" If you should ever need anything..." Keera smiled and closed the door.

" Yeah, that seems about right" Penny chuckled as both she and Raven made their way out of town.

They eventually made their way to a location that housed a numerous amount of creatures that could all be suitable for the task that they would need to perform. It would take several hours to at least perform one test, So the odds seemed to indicate that they would be at this for days. At least a few days until they could possibly get the right combination. Raven had never attempted this before and neither had Penny so this would be completely untouched ground for themselves and Witches alike.
